WSU ranks 4th among all the U.S. universities in aeronautical R&D expenditures according to the National Science Foundation. Also, Wichita State University ranking is first in industry funding for aeronautical expenditures. According to US News and Report, WSU is ranked at 365 rank among the top universities in the USA.

The financial aid and scholarship opportunities for international students at Wichita University are limited. However, there are various resources to fund education. This includes applying for Academic college scholarships, International Student Hardship Fund, SGA International Student Scholarship, etc. Students should look at the eligibility requirements of the scholarships before applying to them.
