What is the procedure for admission ? I have appeared for xat but scored below average so do i have any other way for admission at sp jain?

CAT and GMAT are the only other exams that SPJIMR accepts. You should have cleared the sectional cut offs mentioned at http://www.spjimr.org/pgdm/admission-shortlist-process.aspx

I have scored in CMAT: 58 percentile, SSC: 81% and HSC: 79%. I am waiting for the XAT results. Which colleges can offer me admission?

You can look for Kirloskar - Pune because you will not get calls from premier institutes like:
1. Welingkar.
2. KJ Somaiya.
3. Great Lakes, etc.

Yes it is good apply and go with good preparation for GD

Dear Arth,
This the first year for SPM taking XAT scores. So there are no past trends. We will have to wait to see management decision on the same.

Does XISS has separate cut off for CAT,XAT & CMAT?Is there a fix no. of seats for a particular examination like CAT or XAT?

Last time the cut off was same for all the exams. So it could be expected this time too. Seats are not fixed as such because the college has not disclosed anything.

I am sorry to say but i dont think at this percentile it wud be possible for u to get a call. official cutoffs dont get released but for xat and cat cutoffs are not below 85
