hey i got 65% in cmat and my friend who is sc got 68 % ile . what are our chances in getting HR , which cource should we apply.

You should apply for two discipline. One you may keep HRM and other (Marketing / Finance).This time the cut off for HRM could be High.
And your friend can go with only one discipline registration of his choice.

I got 91%ile in CMAT. 10th- 74.6%, 12th- 85.6%(both from WB board) and grad- 52.27%(Calcutta University). Will I get shortlisted for GD/PI?

Your CMAT score is very good and you also have a good academic record. You will be shortlisted for sure. But during the interview you will have to justify your graduation marks.

what is the xat cut off and CMAT cut off for HR? what is the average package of HR?

XAT and CMAT Cut-off would be around 70 percentile for general and 40-60 percentile for reserved category. Average package is 8 for HR.

How many seats are reserved for minority and SC/ST inHRM?What is the cut off required by them to secure a seat in HRM?

50% of total seats are reserved for minorities and christian students. Cut-off is decided by the college and is expected to be less then general cateogry cut off by atleast 20-30 percentile.

This time the highest packgae was 13lakh per annum by BPCL. Median will be around 7. Out of 75 students around 65% students have been placed in the first phase and with the second phase running it is expexted to be 100% this year.

You have a thin chance because cut-off for HRM is to be expected High this time. You have a good academic record so what you do is fill the form with two dicipline with HRM as first option and try your luck.
