To take part in Xavier University admissions, the applicants are required to complete the application process. Follow the steps given below to submit Xavier University application.

- First of all, apply to Xavier University using either the Xavier application or the Common Application
- Submit the test scores for standardized exams (if applicable) and English language proficiency test scores
- Then, submit the high school transcripts
- Request that the high school submits the Common Application School Report along with the recommendation
- Also, submit the earned college credit in High school (if applicable)
- Then, submit the applications for Honors

The institute mostly accepts rolling applications and for majority courses, the university does not demand any application fee. Yes, Xavier University believes that student employment is an extension of the educational experience and thus allows students to work while studying as long as they fulfill the following criteria listed below:
- Student is enrolled full-time at Xavier during the Academic year;
- They work up to 20 hours per week (all positions combined) during the academic year; and
- They work a maximum of 25 hours per week (all positions combined) during breaks and the summer semester. Exceptions to work more than 25 hours during the summer semester may be available for some positions.
