Xavier University lets all its prospective students apply either through Xavier Applications or the Common Application and mostly accepts admissions on a rolling basis. Since the application accepted are rolling, the decision are also out on a rolling basis. However, once a candidate has submitted their complete application along with relevant documents and test score required, it takes Xavier a time span of four weeks to take a decision and send admission offers.

Prospective students of Xavier University can apply either through Xavier applications or the Common Application, which are available on the university's official website. Xavier University mostly accepts rolling applications and for majority courses, the university does not demand any application fee. In order to avail advantageous merit scholarship package and to meet deadlines for Honors and Competitive Scholarship consideration, international students  must apply to Xavier University by December 1, 2024 for the 2025 intake.

In order to get into Xavier University, all the international students are required to submit their English proficiency exam score as an admission requirements. XIM University has not released placement statistics for BBA LLB course. However, the university has released the placement reports 2023 for MBA Business Management, MBA Rural Management, and MBA HRM. All the branches recorded a 100% placement rate during the XIM University placements 2023. The highest package offered stood at INR 71.50 LPA.
