Quota exists for students from Odisha. It is about 50% of the intake. The rules for the same are opened during the time of application. One must have a domicile certificate and must have stayed at least 8 years in the state and have proof for the same.

The selection is done by interview panel. If the resume is acceptable and the reasons for the percentage is justifiable enough then you may be able to make it.

Ximb comes within the domain of XUB. Earlier ximb used to offer PGDM degree. But now that it has become a university as XUB it offers MBA degree. All degrees are given by XUB only. As of now there is not much difference even in the degree as all degrees have XUB in them. The placements of both BM and HRM are done by the same placement committee. So basically not much has changed. While saying so things are expected to change on the day to come.

Your score in BBA depends on your university criteria, it has to be respectable enough. Though technically you may score more than 50% and still get a call if your XAT/CAT scores are good enough but the final conversion may be a problem. For XAT/CAT, BM program 92%ile (Non-Domicile) and 86%ile (Domicile) is the cutoff.
