Apart from a full-time residential FPM course, XLRI also offers an Executive Fellow Programme in Management (Ex-FPM), a non-residential doctoral course. The course duration of both FPM and Ex-FPM is four years. XLRI admission to both these courses is based on valid XAT/UGC-JRF/NET/GMAT/GRE/GATE scores.

Candidates with BE / BTech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after completing higher secondary education, Class 12 or equivalent, followed by at least 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply for XLRI FPM course. Admission to the FPM course is based on valid XAT/UGC-JRF/NET/GMAT/GRE/GATE scores.

XLRI Jamshedpur has been ranked 9 for MBA by NIRF 2023 and it was established in the year 1949. XLRI has accreditation by AMBA, AACSB and NBA and is approved by AICTE, GOI and AIU. XLRI - Xavier School of Management offers various PG and other courses across Business Management and many other streams.

XLRI Jamshedpur offers MBA/PGDM courses the total tuition fees for these courses ranges between INR 4 Lakhs to 15 Lakhs. Students may find fees for some courses expensive but the college provides top notch facilities in academics and other areas. If required, students can apply for scholarships.

Yes, since PGDM is a residential programme of two-year duration, students must avail of the hostel facility. The hostel rent is INR 9,000 per month.

No, you do not have to apply separately for XLRI. XAT 2026 application include a field where you can select the XLRI course for which you want to apply for. Do select the course option carefully as the admission will be provided according to the submitted choice.
