For courses like Pre-medicine,  Pre-dentistry and Pharmacy students will be required to give a personal interview which will be based on the submitted documents only. It won't be included in the evaluation score but rather evaluated with Pass/Non Pass. However Non pass applicants will be disqualified regardless of the documentation evaluation results of Yonsei University

The Personal Statement to be submitted to Yonsei Uni should be written either in Korean or English. Ensure that you also fill the form given by the uni.

It should express what kind of person you are and your abilities, personalities and experiences in details

For International Student Admissions at Yonsei University the application fees ranges from KRW 150,000-225,000 or INR 9.4k-14.2k depending on your course. For International Student Admission (GLC) its KRW 150,000 or INR 9.4k

To apply to Yonsei University students have to follow the procedure mentioned below-

  • Visit the application on University Office of Admissions website
  • Read the admission guidelines thoroughly
  •  Fill the information carefully
  • Check your results/decision
  • Take Interview or Performance Test
  • Print out completed application form and submit to Office of Admissions
  • Pay the application fee

It depends, as Yonsei Uni students will have to prove proficiency in the language of instruction of their chosen program. For English students will have to submit TOEFL, SAT, AP, ACT, IELTS etc. to Yonsei University 

For programs like Pre Medicine, PreDentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy students have to submit a level 5 or higher Korean language certificate from Yonsei KLI or TOPIK score level 5 or higher

According to the QS Global rankings, Yonsei University ranks at #56 for the year 2025 and for 2026, these rankings improved by 6 places.

And this brings the Yonsei University at #50 in 2026 under the 'World University' category.

The Yonsei Global MBA programme is ranked #101 which is a decline from it's previous year's ranking of #85.

The QS World has released the Yonsei University ranking and it's  ranking for the year 2025 was #180 which is an improvement from its previous year' ranking of 205. And based on this trend, the Yonsei University rankings are improving the years.

There is a jump of 25 places from last year.

There are no minimum requirements for IELTS and TOEFL at Yonsei. The university expects average score between 90-100 for TOEFL, and 6-6.5 or above for IELTS to understand the lectures. The programs lecture are available in English for Indians.
