Minimum marks required in class 12th, to be eligible for BSc (Hons) Zoology, is 55% and the mandatory subjects are physics, chemistry, English, biology/biotechnology.
You should secure minimum 55% marks in mandatory science subjects and 50% marks in English separately.

To me, M.Sc in environmental Science has excellent career prospects, and also for further studies as compared to M.Sc in Zoology. The salaries are also better.

Hello,
After completing B.Sc in Zoology, you can do following things :-
1) M.Sc in Zoology / cell biology etc.
2 M.Sc in Marine Zoology
3 ) Various government exams like M.Sc, UPSC, SSC.
4 ) You can also apply for post of Forest Officer.

The minimum eligibility criterion for a student to take admission in B.Sc zoology is that the candidate must have studied physics, chemistry, and biology in class 12 and should have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 examinations.

Eligibility criteria for admission:
A minimum of 50% required in graduation.
Mandatory Course: B.Sc (Zoology).
Candidates must have passed graduation from Punjab University or from any other university recognised by the syndicate as equivalent thereto. Other eligibility criteria, 50% weightage will be given to the score in the entrance test and 50% to the score in the qualifying examination.
