For admission to the PG course, the eligibility criterion includes a Bachelor of science degree in certain sciences like zoology, botany, microbiology, etc, with chemistry being one of the compulsory pass subjects.
So, if you are a zoology student, you are eligible for a course in M.Sc marine science. Admissions are offered as per the graduation merit list. The admission marks for this course varies with different institutes. Hope this helps. Good luck!

With M.Sc and B.Ed, you can go for teaching. You can also continue your studies as M.Phil or in research. In some private colleges, you can try for lecturership as well.

The Central University of Kashmir does offer an integrated course in Zoology (B.Sc+M.Sc), which is a full-time UG degree of 5 years duration.
Admission is through counselling based on the score obtained in Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET).
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry as one of the subject.

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts OUAT entrance exam for the selection of students in UG, PG and doctoral courses. The University offers courses in the field of agriculture, horticulture, veterinary Science, animal husbandry, agriculture engineering and technology, fishery Science, home Science and forestry. Candidates desirous of taking admission in the affiliated colleges of OUAT are required to fill the application form.

M.Sc. Zoology: Eligibility
The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised school or board in India.
The candidate must have passed B.sc/B.sc (Hons) Zoology with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
Candidates who have passed B.sc/ B.A in Medical and Allied Medical Sciences/ Biosciences/ Life sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university are also eligible to apply.
