The eligibility criteria of M.Sc zoology at Christ University, Bangalore is as under:
A candidate who has passed any undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the cognate subject (Zoology) from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. The selection process consists the following
1. SA (Skill Assessment) :- The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
2. Personal Interview (PI)
3. Academic Performance :- Assessment of past performance in X, XII and Degree ( if result awaited, marks available

Now, zoology is more inclining towards modern technology, so after doing zoology you can choose any specialisation course in genetics, biotechnology, Endocrinology, Immunology, applied zoology, wildlife Science, Ecology and you will be eligible for all these specialised courses in most university.

Hi Anjali,
Yes, there is an entrance exam for M.Sc Zoology and many universities such as Delhi University, Punjab University, JNU and many other universities. Entrance is conducted nearly in month of May and June and you can visit their site for further information and there is negative marking in these exams. Good luck.
