Channels like National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel are in constant need of Zoologists for research and documentaries. Zoologists are also hired for zoos, wildlife services, botanical gardens, conservation organizations

If you ask about the scope, everything is booming. Each of the courses has it's own importance. But, preferably B.Sc in microbiology and biotechnology are very much known nowadays. Biochemistry have heard, but not sure how many people actually turn up for it. Microbiology and biotechnology is surely coming up and will be reaching high in future. All the best.

There are many opportunities available for you after doing B.Sc in Zoology including:
1. You can do M.Sc after doing B.Sc and directly sit for NET examination which is a way to enter in research line.
2. You can apply for various central and state government. Exams, where the minimum qualification needed, is Graduation.
3. You can work for ZSI I. e. Zoological serve of India by passing the qualification test.
4. You can work for any Zoo.
5. After doing B.Sc, you can do B.Ed course which is for two years and can enter into the teaching profession.
6. Many NGOs need work force in this area. So, you can approach them as well.

Mandatory courses: B.Sc (Biotechnology, Agriculture, and Biology), BE/B.Tech (Agriculture & Farm Engineering, and Biotechnology Engineering).
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc/B.Tech in biological science or equivalent) in physical science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum of aggregate 55%.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) Zoology with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Candidates who have passed B.Sc/ BA in Medical and Allied Medical Sciences/ Biosciences/ Life sciences with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university are also eligible to apply. So, you are eligible for this course.
