Both courses are equally good and have great salaries, and job prospects in the present and future. However, it depends on your interest If plants interest you more, then go for a Bachelor of Science in Botany, and if animal life interest you more, then you should go for a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Botany is a better option for Job Opportunities and Careers than Zoology as Civil Engineers mastered in Soil are preferred over Zoologists. Zoology is subject related to the study of solely animal kingdom and the study focuses mostly on the morphology and anatomy of animals and where as Biology is the subject related to study of any kind of living organisms and their relationship between themselves. Zoology itself a part of Biology and Biology is very good subject to learn and explore.

There are many courses that you can take after B.Sc. You can go for M.Sc. In any one of these subjects or any professional degree related to these. Some of the most preferred courses after B.Sc in botany. Zoology and chemistry are :
M.Sc inbotany. Zoology, chemistry, microbiology, forensic sciences, genetics, analytical chemistry and other subjects.

For getting admission in M.Sc. Zoology, you should posses Zoology as one of the core subjects in undergraduate and you should pass the graduation with 55. Fees for M.Sc. Zoology is 24700. INR.

Admission to Sri Venkateswara College, which is affiliated with Delhi University, is done on the basis of the DUET exam. The admission process for M.Sc. Zoology is as follows at SVA:
1. You have to register for the DUET exam to be considered for admission.
2. You must have completed your graduation in either B.Sc. (Hons. ). Zoology or B.Sc. (Hons. ). Biological Science to be eligible for M.Sc. Zoology.
3. You need to have 50% marks in your B.Sc. Degree to register for DUET.
