Yes, Engineering Mathematics is compulsory and common for all TS PGECET papers. The syllabus of TS PGECET Engineering Group comprises following topics -

Yes, the TS PGECET and GATE syllabus remains the same for M.Tech admission. However, GATE questions are trickier and conceptual compared to TS PGECET. Students who want to appear both TS PGECET and GATE must prepare accordingly-

• Go through pattern of both exams and syllabus
• Solve mock test and question paper for accuracy
• While filling application form enter paper code carefully.

The TS PGECET 2026 question paper will contain a total of 120 questions, which are objective-based. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded. However, there is no negative marking for the incorrect responses. Candidates are advised to check the TS PGECET pattern carefully before preparing for the exam. 

Hi Nithish, to apply for TS PGECET or Andhra Pradesh PGECET, you must be an Indian citizen with local status in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. You should have a relevant bachelor's degree like B.Tech, B.Pharm, or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Final-year students can also apply. GATE or GPAT qualifiers don't need to take the exam—they get direct preference.

• Annual Income of Parents (Below One Lakh, Above One Lacs and Below Two Lakhs, More than Two Lakhs)
