  • Linear Algebra
  • Calculus
  • Differential Equations

Yes, the TS PGECET and GATE syllabus remains the same for M.Tech admission. However, GATE questions are trickier and conceptual compared to TS PGECET. Students who want to appear both TS PGECET and GATE must prepare accordingly-

  • Go through pattern of both exams and syllabus
  • Solve mock test and question paper for accuracy
  • While filling application form enter paper code carefully.

Hi Nithish, to apply for TS PGECET or Andhra Pradesh PGECET, you must be an Indian citizen with local status in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. You should have a relevant bachelor's degree like B.Tech, B.Pharm, or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Final-year students can also apply. GATE or GPAT qualifiers don't need to take the exam—they get direct preference.

TS PGECET (Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE for admission into postgraduate courses like M.Tech, M.Pharm, and ME in Telangana colleges.   • TG Online Transaction ID (If payment is being made through TGOnline Centre)
  • Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking details (If payment is to be done through debit card/credit card or net banking details)
  • Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number (B.E/BTech/B.Pharm/B.Arch/M.Sc/MCA, etc., Roll Number
  • Eligibility Criteria 
  • Date of Birth
  • Annual Income of Parents (Below One Lakh, Above One Lacs and Below Two Lakhs, More than Two Lakhs)
  • Category of the candidate
  • Special Category (NCC, Sports Category, PH, or CAP, etc.)

Candidates who have submitted their application form can check their status in the following way -

  • Visit the TS PGECET official website - pgecet.tgche.ac.in
  • Click on the payment status and enter the required details - Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number and Mobile Number
  • Select the payment status
  • The details will be displayed on the screen.

JNTU Hyderabad has announced the official date of TS PGECET 2025 hall ticket along with the notification. The TS PGECET admit card will be made available from June 7, 2025. Candidates who have submitted their application form successfully can download the hall ticket using their login credentials.
