The TS PGECET exam is conducted online. The duration of the test is two hours, and it comprises a total of 120 marks. The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the official notification regarding the TS PGECET 2025 exam dates. The TS PGECET exam for admission to the M.Tech programme will be conducted from June 16 to 19, 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam must stay upated with upcoming TS PGECET 2025 official notifications. No, the TS PGECET and GATE syllabus are pretty much same, however, the difficulty level may vary. The GATE syllabus is more ellaborative focusing on concept and practical approaches. On the other hand, the TS PGECET exam syllabus is more direct and falls under easy to moderate. The authorities will release the TS PGECET syllabus on the official website along with the information bulletin.

The syllabus comprises topics of Graduate level. The topics are different for different programmes. The candidates must check all the topics included in the syllabus while preparing for the exam. The candidates can check the previous years' question papers to understand the topics included in the exam.
