It’s worth it: We are enjoying and learning at the same time.

Placements: I am a student of the Journalism department. We are provided with the best internships and placements. Being in the 3rd semester, I am already doing an internship provided by the college, and it is giving me a great boost in my confidence, and I am also exploring my field.

Infrastructure: We have all the practical setups and elements that help us practice smoothly. It is maintained, and we are not at all bound to using it. We also have a full radio setup officially running. We have full access to everything and can also use elements from different departments if needed.

Faculty: We have experts in different fields like radio, print media, TV, etc. We have balanced exams, not so burdened, not so free. All our faculty members have experience in the fields and are here after working in their respective fields. Also, we have 1–2 extra courses from different departments, which help us in exploring.

At AAFT University, one can easily gain and learn practical knowledge.

Placements: Currently, around 75–80 percent of students from our Journalism and Mass Communication course are placed or have received job offers through campus and off-campus opportunities. The average package is 4.5–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Vistaar News, IBC24, News18, and Doordarshan. Nearly 90–100 percent of students have completed or are currently doing internships. Popular internship organizations include Times of India, IBC24, and TV24. Top roles offered in the course are Content Writer/Copywriter, Digital Marketing Executive, Social Media Manager, Video Editor, Public Relations Assistant, Reporter/News Correspondent, and Communication Executive.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are well-equipped. I do not use the hostel facility, but sports and games are fully available. The food is hygienic and reasonably priced. Medical facilities are available in case of emergencies, and the staff members are helpful and caring.

Faculty: Obviously, the course is relevant and helpful. The practical knowledge and experience here make us industry ready. Semester exams are easy if we have studied. Faculty definitely prepare us well. Exam questions are designed to make students future ready.

Other: I want to be a good public communicator. The involvement with social media handles is great, and it is also nice.

AAFT University, Kharora, Raipur.

Placements: AAFT UNIVERSITY has a great CRC team who work hard to provide students jobs according to their academic achievements, skills, and fields they are interested in. The university has contact with great industry giants like Disney. In the year 2022, the School of Journalism provided 100% placements to the students.

Infrastructure: Every classroom has projectors, computers, and essentials required for the concerned degree and courses. Teachers are provided with laptops to make learning easy and fun for students. We have a news studio for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, a cinema studio for the School of Cinema, a photography studio, and over 10-15 DSLR cameras with different types of lenses for the School of Photography. Currently, the hostel is under construction in our college, and to manage accommodation for students, the college has rented a building on a temporary basis 2-3 km away from the college campus.

Faculty: We have faculty members with industrial experience and Ph.D.s in their expertise for every department. We have six semesters for a Bachelor's degree, each semester comprising six months. For each, we have to appear in a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination. We have new courses every semester related to the subjects of our degree. The college focuses more on practical learning and exposure rather than theory to make students industry-ready.

Other: We don't have an annual fest, but we do celebrate every kind of occasion and festival on our college campus, managed and organized by the students and the student council, like Navrang for Navratri, Deepotsav for Diwali, etc. Although the college doesn't offer a flashy college life.

AAFT University of Media and Arts Raipur.

Placements: The college has signed MOU with My FM and Radio Mirchi. Seniors have been placed into News 18 and Vistaar News Raipur. So much good. They have done everything, camera, light, sweeping, mopping, and everything all at once, all the time, everywhere. Not placed never actually took the effort by the CRC.

Infrastructure: I am the adjacent. I don't take hostel facilities, and college infrastructure is good. We have every equipment provided by the college for our skill development and are allowed to use them very much as per our need and demand. Faculty members’ guidelines are always there.

Faculty: AAFT branch of Raipur. Faculty members are good. They are very good, they are excellent, they are too good. They have very good technical skills and like to gossip very much. They are very much involved in students’ personal life. They are so much supportive.

The best University of Media and Arts in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: A senior placed in IBC24. Diploma students placed in News Network 18. Pratiksha placed in News 18 as graphic designer. Anmol Tiwari placed in Vistar News as regional reporter. The college also has MOU with My FM and Radio Mirchi, Raipur. Senior placed in InShot.

Infrastructure: University provides Wi-Fi and food included with the best quality. Although I am not residing in the hostel, the structure is good. They take students every Saturday on market visits in AC bus. The hygiene and cleanliness of the hostel is also good.

Faculty: In BAJMC, we have one female faculty and 2 male faculty who have completed their doctorate. They are very supportive and concerned towards the students. Practical exposure with theoretical knowledge is also provided under their guidance. They are also very good.
