The eligibility criteria for Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education (ANUCDE) are as follows :1.Undergraduate Programs (UG) - Bachelor's Degree : Candidates must have passed the 12th board examination with a minimum score of 45-50% from a recognised board of India. For MBA and MCA programs, candidates must have cleared bachelor's degree with 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD category) with Mathematics being a core subject in class 12 and bachelor's degree.2.Postgraduate Programs (PG) - Master's Degree:Basic eligibility criteria is to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university. There is no age restriction for admission into any P.G. course, but those candidates who crossed 30 years of age for OC, 34 years for BC, SC and ST will not get any fee reimbursement

In 2018, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) raised concerns about alleged irregularities in the certification process and temporarily suspended accepting ANU certificates for government jobs in Telangana. The issue remains unresolved. However, the research shows that the degree is valid, however, make the decision after evaluating all the aspects.
