Don Bosco University admissions are based on scores obtained from various entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for B.Tech are the JEE Main and the DBU-GET. Most other UG programs do not require an entrance exam, but candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for each program. MBA candidates are required to take any of the entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, JMAT, XAT, GMAT and DBU-PGET. M.Tech candidates do not need to take an entrance exam for admission to the M.Tech program, but they must have a minimum 60% marks in the qualifying UG degree with a good academic record.
Yes, you can join without JEE. However, if you don't appear within the JEE Mains then the University offers admission in B.Tech through 3 access options. JEE Main, Don Bosco University GET, or Assam CEE. If you haven't cleared the JEE Main examination or the State Entrance test, you may also practice for the DBU-GET. However, the entrance exam is necessary for admission to B.Tech at Assam Don Bosco University.

While ADBU does not offer any scholarship that covers 100% of the total cost of tuition fees for B.Tech programmes, it does offer various scholarship schemes which can provide partial financial support to deserving students. Academic Merit scholarships are given to students who have a good academic track record, usually with CGPA or marks in specified subjects.
Financial need scholarships are offered to economically disadvantaged students who demonstrate financial hardship. Some scholarships may be available to students belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, etc. Please note that the details and eligibility criteria of each scholarship scheme may vary.
Assam Don Bosco offers fee refunds under certain conditions. However, the details vary from case to case. If you withdraw your application and apply for a fee refund before the commencement of the academic year, you can get a partial refund after deducting Rs.1000 as an administrative charge. If you fail to meet the eligibility criteria for admission by 31st October of the year in which you applied, you will get a partial refund, after deducting a pro rated amount of tuition fees and annual fees along with the administrative charge. Once the academic year begins, you will not be able to apply for fee refunds. The detailed refund policy for different scenarios can be found on the university’s website.
At the time of admission to the BTech programme of Assam Don Bosco University, selected candidates have to pay an admission fee. The admission fee at ADBU is INR 18,000. Additionally, students must submit a caution deposit of INR 10,000. Candidates can check out the following ADBU BTech fee breakup:
