Review of Assam Don Bosco University, Azara.
Placements: There are many placement opportunities as well as internship programs in the college. Even this year, a good number of students got placements after their internships, about 30%. The companies usually belong to the banking and marketing sectors, and the salaries offered range from Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000, which is quite enough for an entry-level job, especially in the northeast regions.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered in the college are quite satisfactory and resourceful. Most classrooms are fitted with smart boards and Wi-Fi connections, which make learning very interactive and interesting. The library is also full of quality books and has the space necessary for studying. There is also an infirmary and three canteens having a variety of food items.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them have a Ph.D. and are skilled enough to tackle the topics in class. The course curriculum is also taught well and kept up-to-date and relevant. The semester exams are also challenging enough to push students and encourage them to learn.
Other: I chose this course because I was already in the Commerce department, and I felt that this course would be a good step for my future. More real-life teaching, like taxes, investment, and finance subjects. Better sports activities and clubs would definitely add to the overall quality of the campus.

My experience in university is good but dissatisfied with the campus
Placements: Placement is not taken important in our university. There is placement staff who invites the recruiter for interview so one who are interested go for the interview. Since I didn't go for interview I don't know the highest or lowest package offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities are average. There is wifi but I can say it's useless. Labs are good and classrooms are also good there is single seats available for all the students. Hostel is also there for both boys and girls I don't know about the mess and all. 2 canteens are there in campus. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers helps a lot in our studies and in our projects and helps in carrier building. They are qualified PHD holders. New faculties are there without PhD holders. Some of the faculty are very knowledgeable and some are not. Teaching quality is good enough.
Other: I chose this course because I want to setup my own business. To know about the business I choose this course. The best thing is that this course offers one to be well rounded person and help to be socialize. Events frequently happened in the university like programs and exhibition and industry visit etc. Scholarship are also good.

The admissions process is very easy here.
Placements: From the 3rd semester, students were eligible for placements if they applied. The placement cells at our college were very active. Top recruiting companies like PWC, EY, Amazon, Google, Hindustan Unilever, etc., visited our campus. The salary package offered was 8 LPA to 24 LPA in the previous year. Almost 80% of B.Com students and 90% of M.Com students got placed the previous year. Our college provided excellent placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms were spacious. Four students shared a single room. Our rooms were well furnished with four fans. The study table was attached to the bed, 1 drawer with 2 slots below it, and a cupboard with 3 slots. We had three canteens, as the college was huge. The hostel canteen provided three meals a day. Different departments sold Indian, Chinese, tribal, and many more food items. The mess fee was not included in the hostel fees. You could even get a milk coupon for the whole month. Registration was done once admitted by the head warden of the hostel. You need to fill out a form and then pay the fees. Each classroom accommodated 40 students.
Faculty: The faculty-student ratio was appropriate, and each student got the required attention from teachers. Our teachers were well-versed in their subjects. They were very supportive of the students. Exams were conducted regularly. It was not easy to pass for those who didn't study.
Other: I chose this college for this course as it was the most reputed college in the city. The course fee was Rs. 99,000 per year.
