Established in 2018, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (also known as AIIMS Nagpur) is recognised as the 'Institute of National Importance'. It is one among the four institutes established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. 1. Certificate of physical fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
2. 'No Objection Certificate' if the candidate is already employed with Central/State Government/Public Undertaking.

For direct admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing course at AIIMS Nagpur, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as of December 31, 2025.
- The candidate should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
