Yes, it is possible if someone doesn't want to apply in the existing cutoff round at AIIMS Nagpur; they can go for the next round. However, it is not allowed to hold any seat. If a candidate is targeting the next cutoff round, then he/she might have to bear the risk of losing his/her seat, as the vacant seats are eventually occupied by the remaining candidates in the given period. They might have to compete for the seats remaining after the existing cutoff round. Established in 2018, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (also known as AIIMS Nagpur) is recognised as the 'Institute of National Importance'. It is one among the four institutes established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Nagpur AIIMS is an autonomous institute and has also been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). 

A candidate must have received at least 60% in their 10+2 Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Sciences (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination from a recognised University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in order to be admitted to AIIMS Nagpur's MBBS program. For SC/ST applicants, the necessary percentage is 50%. In addition, the NEET exam is required for admission to the MBBS program. Admission to AIIMS is based on the NEET Exam. The steps for seeking admission are as follows:

• Apply for Counselling.
• In the form fill out the preference.
• In the form fill the AIMS Nagpur as the Preference.

Then, candidates are allowed with the seats based on NEET Score, college choice, and Category.

AIIMS Nagpur is a new college that started in 2018, and the first batch will pass out in 2023. Therefore, there are no reviews on placements yet. However, the infrastructure of the college is amazing, and it is spread over 125 acres of land and comprises an OPD building, an IPD building, a medical college building, an indoor and outdoor sports area, a residential area, a mess, and so on. The campus has Wi-Fi, and the mess serves delicious food at nominal prices. Hostels are provided with a washing machine and a water cooler on each floor. Students can practice good clinics in the AIIMS Hospital. The admission procedure in AIIMS Nagpur is the same as other medical institutes. For admission in MBBS degree, one needs to qualify NEET-UG with more than 60% of marks. After completing an MBBS degree from AIIMS Nagpur, the student is capable enough to start their own practice as a general physician. The average salary of an MBBS graduate is 5 LPA, and hospitals like Apollo, AIIMS, Cipla Limited, Medanta Hospital are the top recruiters. 

AIIMS Nagpur placement report for 2024 has not been released. However, some of the students have disclosed the placement statistics on Shiksha students' review page. As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the the highest package offered over the past few years of placements was between INR 10 LPA and INR 12 LPA. Further, the AIIMS Nagpur average package offered in recent placements was between INR 6 LPA and INR 7 LPA. The the lowest package offered was INR 2 LPA. The answer will be both yes and no. Candidates can enrol at AIIMS Nagpur with out NEET for various courses such as BSc, MSc, MD etc. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.

Admission to the BSc course at AIIMS Nagpur is based on AIIMS paramedical exam. Candidates wiill have to register for the exam and then appear for the entrance exam. It is on the basis of the marks obtained in the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam that candidates can further participate in the counselling.
