In this instance, if you belong to any category that is reserved such as SC or ST, your chances are a lot better, especially if cutoff trends are consistent. However, ultimate admission depends on the seat availability, category, and competition. You could still apply and wait to see the merit list since different years have varying cutoffs in a few marks. You should also have a ready backup option and keep checking the official announcements.

The college is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for BTech in ECE, as admission is only through JEE Mains (through JOSAA/CSAB counselling). The c&idate needs to pass the JEE-Mains exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) & participate in the JEE/CSAB counselling procedure to get allocated to the Institute. There is no other means of admission procedure.
