ASU's B.Pharm programme (4 years) is charged approximately INR 10.4 Lacs in total (INR 2.6 lakh/year) and is very highly priced compared to government institutes such as the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (INR 1.44 lakh) and somewhat less compared to other private universities such as GD Goenka (INR 6.4 lakh). The fee structure is also modeled on advanced labs, industry-oriented course curriculum, and professional tie-ups which are expected to receive better placement avenues (up to INR 12 LPA). Hostel charges would be different and could range from INR 1-1.5 lakh/year. Current students and some alumni believe that the high fee charged is somewhat justified given the value for their money because of 100 percent placement assistance and good faculty; others, however, may not feel the same unless there are scholarships.
