Master of Commerce (M.Com.) - Batch of 2024
Offered by Kristu Jayanti University

Mutual concerns for the students.
Placements: Some of the moderate companies like HCLtech, ProteanAI, Allwin Technologies and services look for the students of master of commerce with the average pay usually below 28,000 per month. Similarly, high-paying corporates like TCS and Cognizant play a role in the process of recruitment.
Infrastructure: A large parking space was designed in the college campus for the students as well as teachers. The organisation was quite busy with its events and its calendars. Atleast five to six programs were conducted in the month. For conducting some of the events, they would collect charges from the students to organize them successfully.
Faculty: Professors shared their mutual concerns with everybody, and this type of concerns showed the biggest growth in the academic progress. There will be no frequency in organizing the examinations, only to enter the internal marks examinations will be conducted. Literally, they had an aim to reach the highest positions in the organizations through their educational services.

B.Sc. in Forensic Science - Batch of 2024

Best college for Forensic Science.
Placements: Placements are less for Forensic Science students, but they're increasing year by year. But for other departments, placements are available. For Forensic Science, the placement cell is becoming more advanced year by year. Other departments like B.Com and BBA have good placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent with multiple libraries, computers, and science labs. Hostels are available for both girls and boys, but it's better to opt for PGs nearby, as hostels are a little away from the college. Hostels have curfews, but PG curfews are not very restricted.
Faculty: The teachers are well-experienced and have good knowledge of the subject, and the curriculum is very much updated. Semester exams are easy if a basic knowledge is there about the subject. Basic knowledge is necessary to at least pass the exam. If we listen to the class properly, we will get proper knowledge.
Other: I'm in batch 2024-27. Forensic Science is a upcoming field which is open with good opportunities year after year. In this course, we are studying a lot of new things that we were not aware of before, and I'm curious to learn more and more about forensics. Many events and fests are happening in the college even everyday there will be one fest going on from any department.

The rules can get crazy but other than that the college is pretty amazing.
Placements: The placement cell is very helpful and helps the students get in touch with the companies they desire to work with, apart from the companies they regularly tie up with. They do have some ground rules which are complicated.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available and are quite close to the college making commuting easy. The classrooms in the Humanities block are spacious, clean, and bright. The library is quipped with the required books. It is open till late and on holidays making it very accessible.
Faculty: Some teachers are very nice, knowledgeable, and open to new suggestions but there are exceptions for a few. Even though the staff is strict and the rules are rigid. The staff does provide the necessary help and assistance when required. The syllabus is regularly updated.
Other: The college doesn't provide many fests or events for the PG but it does have events like Ethnic Day, festival celebrations, and cultural events, making the college vibrant. The college has students from all over India, but the Mallu crowd does dominate the college.

It is really crowded, filled with a lot of students.
Placements: Being a first year, we have not yet come to placements, so I cannot give valid information about them. I heard about M.Sc. You've got companies like Eli Lilly coming up for placement opportunities. I am not sure about the percentage of students from my course, and I am not sure about the highest and lowest average packages as well.
Infrastructure: Student Wi-Fi cannot be accessed until you are in the second year, which we aren't even sure if we will receive. Labs are well occupied. To be honest, labs are pretty good. Science block classrooms are like a matchbox for 80 students in a class. Libraries are really good too. I am a day scholar, so not much to say about hostels. Canteens are good too.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but a lot of them are too lazy to even teach the students, half of them just read out the PPTs. It is curriculum-relevant. I cannot assure whether it makes the student industry-ready theoretically, but practically, it does. The semester exams are easy if you have studied the content given on the website and have a basic knowledge of the concept.
Other: I chose this course because it was my passion, it was something which I wanted to do in future. I wanted to be part of the research field.
Proper facilities are something I wish I could have in my college case, all they do is read out the PPTs, you hardly find good teachers who actually explain the concept. There are events, fests and all of it, but to be part of a club is gonna be one of the hectic stuff, because most of it is gonna be occupied by seniors, you are hardly getting opportunities.

Kristu Jayanti University, good vibes and an overall satisfying experience.
Placements: In UG programmes, approximately 30% were recruited, however, in PG programmes, about 80% were recruited. For biotech companies, Biocon Syngene has recruited, and certain pharmaceutical companies like Novartis and Cipla also recruit. The university also has many collaborations with research institutions. Roles offered in my course are biotechnologist, research scientist, bioinformatics specialist, lab technician, etc. It's impossible to predict the placements from my course, as most companies require a minimum of a Master's in this course to get a placement. For M.Sc. in the same course, the placement rate was said to be around 90%.
Infrastructure: The facilities, like labs, are well maintained, high-end devices and instruments are available, the library has a lot of different books and books are provided. The food provided in the canteen is delicious, however, it is a little overpriced. The college has a separate arena for sports, which has cricket, football, etc. The college also has a gym, which has good equipment.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, most teachers have advanced degrees. They are very supportive and provide guidance regarding the course, and are often willing to help outside of class hours. The faculty actively includes students in research projects.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in biotech and genetics. Both biotech and genetics have rapidly expanding career opportunities, and the topics are really diverse and interesting, unlike other courses. Not only that, but since I chose this course, I get to pursue my master's in either of the three subjects, biotech, genetics and biochem.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2026
Offered by Indian Academy Degree College
4.8
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The best college with supportive faculty and good placement opportunities.
Placements: About 60-70% of students got placed. The packages ranging from 2.5 LPA (the lowest) to 6-8 LPA (the highest), with the lowest and an average of 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters were Molecular Connections, Anthem Biosciences, and others. Around half got internships in similar firms, mainly for analyst, developer, and consultant roles.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, a digital library, and clean hostels with AC, LAN, and common areas. Mess food is decent, the canteen offers variety, medical services are available. There's a gym, multiple sports facilities, and game rooms where students can play in their free time.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and share strong subject knowledge. Teaching is interactive, the curriculum is well-updated, focused, and industry-relevant, and includes industrial visits. Exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is around 80-85%, making it student-friendly.

Hey Manasa,
Certainly, even with four backlogs, you can still finish your B.S. at Bengaluru North University. Before applying to any colleges, though, you must complete all unfinished business. Checking the specific requirements for the course and university you're interested in is important because
