B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Designing - Batch of 2025
2.6
Okay college, teachers are good, infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Mostly everyone is placed, but the issue is that everyone is placed in retail shops, not as assistant designers or designers. I think only one good company is there. Internships are not provided; we have to search for everything. But everyone will do an internship.
Infrastructure: I don't have anything to say. The infrastructure is good, the teachers are good, but Wi-Fi is not proper. We don't have a hostel; everyone stays in PG or flats, which cost extra money. The labs are good, the classrooms are good, and the library is good. Personally, this college is so boring.
Faculty: Teachers are good but very strict, which makes us scared to ask doubts. This year, they have improved. Semesters are not difficult, but they are not giving time to complete assignments. I don't know much about this. I don't have anything to say.
Other: No, I chose this course because I saw it on Google, and it was my bad choice. The best thing is enjoyment.

Overall the college is good and the exposure through the events is beneficial.
Placements: Many of them secured positions in reputable companies with attractive packages for beginners. While most of our interns are placed in retail, there are also other options available. Some of the recruiting companies include adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's, and several others. Our interns have also had the opportunity to work with well-known brands.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are efficiently utilized, and the majority of them are in excellent working order. However, the amphitheatre still requires renovation. The college exudes an artistic atmosphere, and the library is well-stocked with essential books that aid designers and students in their learning beyond the curriculum.
Faculty: The instructors provide valuable assistance, and the curriculum is practical, preparing students for the industry. The semesters are manageable and not overly challenging. They address our concerns and guide us in creating innovative and visually appealing designs.
Other: Events are arranged mostly and are enjoyable.

Principle is very bad, some teachers are nice thats all.
Placements: In addition to the course and curriculum, there are various enriching opportunities such as seminars, guest lectures, PD workshops, AL series, TEDX, corporate days, Aalekhya, and Zenith. These events play a significant role in molding your character, boosting your self-assurance, and inspiring you to excel daily.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is completely non-functional, the classroom is of poor quality, and the recommended hostel, ALR PG, is extremely unsatisfactory. The computers in the CAD lab do not work, and the majority of machines in the PMGC lab are also non-functional. The washrooms are in a deplorable state, and although bus facilities are provided, they only put on a show during events.
Faculty: There is a significant variation in the quality of teachers at this institution. I strongly advise against enrolling in courses here, as the admissions process promises one thing, but the actual experience is quite different. In addition to the regular fees, there are numerous additional expenses, and parents are also compelled to pay annual fees.

Honest review about the college.
Placements: Not quite sure about it, but so far, I've heard good reviews. The seniors I know have been placed in small positions and well-known companies. And some have chosen to study further. It solely depends on the students' efforts. And since the college has a good reputation, it seems legitimate.
Infrastructure: Things are not maintained well, due to which it is very difficult to use Wi-Fi, labs, or classrooms properly. Even though we are provided with things, it is not useful. And for design students, the materials are not provided, and it all comes under the student's personal expenses. And the faculty does not even give us recommendations or references of places where we can get the materials. Quality of food in the canteen is good. In my opinion, it is worth the money, and I am very satisfied with the food. They have a limited menu and varieties, both in veg and non-veg. In terms of sports and games, the college is adequate. We do not have a sports faculty, but we do have a few materials which we use on occasions. But otherwise, it is non-existent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about their subjects. However, some subjects that are not considered major receive less attention, and faculty members are not provided for them. Especially for additional language students, faculty members are not provided, and the syllabus is shared only in the last hour near the exams. Exams are easy to medium, covering all the things we have been taught at college.
Other: I chose this course to explore my creativity and focus on the details of the course, building skills up to a professional level. However, I am still at a beginner stage. I would have really liked it if the course focused more on practical-based learning than theory-based. The campus is mostly not crowded, events are conducted on a small scale, and the campus is surrounded by textile industries in a rural area. We do not have any extracurricular activities.

Overall great college, its a fun place to study.
Placements: Vogue Institute of Art and Design offers comprehensive fashion design education, skilled professors, excellent facilities, and strong industry connections. I would recommend this college. The average package offered is 35,000 for internships. 100 percent of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: We are provided with everything such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, and more. The quality of the facilities in our hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are excellent. Would recommend this college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The teachers help us a lot, even for job interviews. The semester exams are easy in this college, and the teachers help us to their best ability for the semester exams.
Other: It was my dream to become a fashion designer. There are lots of events and fests conducted on our campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, other aspects are good.
Placements: Very bad college. Before joining, just think 100 times. Faculty members are not friendly; there is nothing to teach. This college is so small that my school was three times bigger than this college. I'm currently studying in this college, and I am so frustrated. I literally want to change my college instead of wasting my career. This is my review of this college as a student.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are not friendly. There is no hostel. There is only one canteen; it's fine, not so good. Labs are also fine but not excellent. No medical facilities are available. Sports and games are there, but very few. Cleanliness is lacking. Moreover, all the good faculty members left the college.
Faculty: The principal and faculty are asking us to pay yearly fees of 3 Lacs 40 thousand. Initially, they mentioned that we have to pay semester-wise fees of 1 lakh 70 thousand. Now, they are pressurizing us to pay yearly fees, threatening to restrict attendance and exam participation. This is quite frustrating and contradictory to the initially communicated payment structure.

Not going to recommend this college to anyone, it was recommended to me, and I regret it.
Placements: The batches before us did not get placements. They started placements only for our batch, and only one company has had interviews for students from our college up until now. I had joined this college looking at the website, on which they had mentioned big brands like 'Tommy Hilfiger' for placements. After joining the college I realised that no such thing happened. On the other hand, our college helped us for internships, but that too only from my batch onwards they started. And honestly, I found some of the internships, mine to be exact, not very helpful as we could't get a hands on experience in the industry. We were just asked to look around for a month in a small factory and learn the processes that take place in the factory. We were't even exposed to the design section of the factory which isn't something that should have happened considering we are doing a designing course. Some of the students though did get a chance to design for other companies under their internships. None of the internships were paid.
Infrastructure: The main campus is located in the outskirts of Bangalore which makes it very hard to commute, all though the college does have a few buses that cover parts of Bangalore for the students and faculty members. There are a total of 7 buses right now which quite frankly arena't a sufficient number of buses for the strength of the college. Most of the times we would have to stand in the bus for our entire journey to college. The labs sometimes don't have working equipment which makes it very hard to work on assignments in college. The quality of the food is not that great, you can get a decent meal to fill your stomach, there isn't a variety. Sometimes the food even runs out if you don't make it in time to the canteen, especially during breakfast. There is no seating arrangement in the canteen. There are no hostels in the college, but the college does give you contacts to PG's which are around 45 minds from colleges.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are very helpful, there might be a few, 1-2 faculty members who are not really that helpful in class. Some of the teachers are not that great with their teaching methods, whereas there are some teachers who are really helpful and who teach in an excellent manner. There are teachers who teach with practical work which really helps you understand very well. Most of the teachers teach through power point presentations, later which are forwarded to us as study material. We did get to visit an industry once in the first year, and once in the second year.
Other: There are no fests in college, but we were encouraged to attend fests of other colleges and take part. They are building a bigger better campus behind our new campus which should be ready by next year. Honestly there isn't much of a college life in the college cause our campus is currently small and there's nothing to do there.

Worth for smart and hard work.
Placements: Placements did not happen for our seniors, but for our batch, our new HOD mam MS Anuja Manohar, started placements for students in top industries, and she is trying hard for students future. Now, the management started giving us international lectures, and London faculty give the lectures.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are comfortable and cool with international standard projectors and gadget stuff. Wi-Fi is provided only in the library. If Wi-Fi is provided in the classrooms, the students will be spending all the time using it. So, it is in the library. There are no issues with the college.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are knowledgeable in their field, and the teaching is amazing. Their teaching skills are at pro level. No student can complain about their teaching skills. The relationship between the faculty and students is excellent.
Other: Events like fashion shows, annual day and sports day are conducted. Our management allows us to celebrate all the religion based festivals on the campus itself. So, people from various places can get the knowledge of Indian culture.
