Admission to MBA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates.  Admission to BTech course is based on BEEE or Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam. BEEE  is designed to test the knowledge and aptitude of candidates in various subjects related to engineering, such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The exam is typically held in the month of April, and the results are used to determine the eligibility of candidates for admission to BTech course. All the candidates must check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the BEEE exam. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to come for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total fee of BTech ranges between INR 6 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee might includes components other than the tuition fee. 

No, the university considers the merit of the candidates in graduation for providing admission. Aspirants do not have to appear for any of the entrance exam. Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis but at the time of admission such a candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/ marksheet from the respective examination provided that he /she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled. 

 BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BIHER offers BTech course in 16 specialisations, namely Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Apart from the regular four-year BTech course, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry. BTech (LE) is also available in various specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc. However, one can also apply for lateral entry after completing the Diploma course.
