The total fee of BTech ranges between INR 6 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates who have applied for BTech (lateral entry) need to pay a total fee ranging between INR 2.40 Lacs and INR 5.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Yes, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry to the BTech course. Through lateral entry, candidates get direct admission in the second-year of the course. BTech (LE) is offered for a duration of three-years to aspirants who have completed Diploma recognised by central or state government with at least 50% aggregate or BSc Mathematics or its equivalent. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria must meet the merit requirement set by the university for admission. The university also BTech (LE) in six specialisations, namely Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. Admission to BTech (LE) course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. After completing the selection rounds, candidates need to come for counselling and document verification round.

Q:   Is MBBS available at Bharath University?
A: 

Yes, MBBS is a 4.5 year course followed by one year of compulsory rotating internship. The period of 4.5 years is divided into nine semester, with each semester of six month. Phase I or the Pre-Clinical phase is of 13 months and is preceded by a one-month foundation course.At the end of Phase II or the Para-clinical phase (12 months) students will be assessed on the subjects Pharmacology, Pathology and Microbiology. At the end of Phase III part I (13 months) students will be assessed on Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology and Oto-rhinolaryngology.
