The study materials are provided to the students in the form of CDs and online notes for hassle-free use of course materials. Yes, the university is offering a three-year BSc course (blended) with the University of Melbourne, Australia. Candidates can apply by visiting the university website (b-u.ac.in). On course completion, a BSc degree is awarded by Bharathiar University and students will receive a quality assurance certificate from the University of Melbourne. Candidates who have completed their Class 12 or Diploma from a recognised board/ university are eligible for any UG/Diploma courses and those who have completed their graduation from a recognised university are eligible to apply to any PG/PG Diploma courses offered by SDE.

Spot admission is done for all courses in the office of the School of Distance Education at Bharathiar University campus and other centres. For spot admission, candidates are required to submit their duly filled in application form along with all relevant certificates in original, their photocopies, Bank Challan or Demand Draft for the course fee in full or first installment. The candidates also need to hand over the original certificates and documents to the authorities to complete the admission process.
