TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Anna University for admission to MBA, MCA and ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan degree programs offered by colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TANCET 2021 counselling process is conducted by Anna University for admission to MBA, MCA and ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan degree programs offered by colleges in Tamil Nadu. Here is a list of top TANCET 2022 participating colleges which you can target for admission into MBA/MCA/Engineering courses: Anna University, Chennai M. S College of Engineering, Avadi SRM University, Chennai Sona School of Management, Salem Madhya Engineering College, Kancheepuram.

The affiliated colleges of Bharathiar University accepts the scores of Class 12 or equivalent examination to prepare the merit list for admission. The University does not conduct any entrance examination nor accepts the scores of any entrance test to offer admission to the BCom programme. Therefore, candidates can get direct admission at Bharathiar University for Bcom.

Candidates who have passed class 12 with required subjects from a recognised board are eligible for admission Bharathiar University. In addition to this, student must have studied the relevant subject such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics depending upon the applied BSc specialisation. Furthermore, the selection is based on the applicants scores in NCHMCT JEE/ JEE Main. Based on merit in the entrance exam, the university carries out the seat allotment process.

Bharathiar University MCA admission is based on candidates' scores in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University. Candidates seeking admission to the MCA course must visit the University’s official website of the university to register themselves. The university further announces the results and the shortlisted candidates following which seat allotment is carried out.

Bharathiar University BCom admission forms are out on the University's official website. Although Bharathiar University BCom admission dates  are not announced yet by the University, according to the last-year data, the end date for BCom application submission could be somewhere in Jun.

Candidates must keep the scanned copies of the following documents handy while filling the online application. None of these documents must be not more than 512 KB of size and all of these must be in jpeg/ png/ jpg format only:

1,447 seats in total are available for the MCA program at Bharathiar University. Although, 120 seats are reserved for Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT). Moreover, a total of 80 seats are reserved for Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, i.e., 80

The University shall admit candidates by a two stage process through an entrance test, called Common Eligibility Test (CET), and an interview. CET shall normally be conducted by the University during June / July every year. The test will be conducted at the following centres:

Candidates who fulfil the educational requirements as prescribed by the university become eligible for admission. For eligibility, the aspirant shall be a graduate with a valid BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Information Technology/ Computer System and Design) or equivalent with Mathematics as a course at Higher Secondary level or at Graduate level.
