Our college is not just like any other college. Students are given fines for being absent.
Placements: The students need at least 50 percent to enroll in our college. There is no package system in our college because the admission process is the same for all programs except for other classes. They can apply for government jobs. I believe that students with 90% or above will receive internships. The top role is that they teach us how to serve society.
Infrastructure: Yes, the facilities are very good, and many useful books are available in the libraries. The labs are well-equipped as well. The food served here is quite delicious and nutritious. The meals are appetizing and healthy, ensuring the well-being and overall satisfaction of students. The hostel food is well-cooked and flavorful, offering a good variety in the menu and multiple options for students.
Faculty: In my opinion, a qualified teacher is one who holds many degrees and stays current with the subject she teaches. Her education and degrees compel schools and colleges to hire her. She might not always connect well with students and may be strict and demanding, but those reasons do not warrant labeling her a "bad" teacher. This course is not relevant to the curriculum, and it doesn't prepare students for the industry. If we study well, it’s not hard at all. The passing percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a leader someday and serve my community with wellness and social services. The duration of this course is too long. Events like sports tournaments are also included.

Overall good, not amazing but good for a budget friendly college. Has good teachers and facility.
Placements: The placement is very poor in this college. Almost none. You need to be above other college students to get placed in a job. The college offers many courses such as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce. Not to demoralize, but very few are selected from the college through placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The mess could be better; hygiene is a question, but overall it's good. The hostel is near the college, which is convenient for those who want to study and stay on campus. The best option would be to stay in the hostel and take care of hygiene on one's own.
Faculty: The teacher is good. They provide notes on a regular basis and offer important topics and answers that need to be studied. Practical knowledge should be provided more, which the college lacks. Semester exams are conducted at the college too, and 75% attendance is required.

Everything was good and even the staff were also too helpful and nice, all around.
Placements: 120 students had taken admission. About the package, it was affordable as the lowest they asked for. Recruiting companies were Tata and Axis Bank. A biochemical lab technician was the role offered. About 87 percent of students got what they wanted. About roles as technicians or teachers at the same academy were offered.
Infrastructure: Our department provided a range of facilities and infrastructure that support effective learning and student development. The classrooms were spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and smart boards, too. Canteen food was also good. No doubt at all.
Faculty: Exams were based on what you had studied, it was pretty tough and good. The teachers were too helpful with us and supportive. The semester exams were also taken fully, no doubt at all. It was a little tough if I say so.
Other: Just one football ground, if we could get it, it would be nice, and besides that, all was well.

An insight into Don Bosco College, Diphu.
Placements: There's no placement offered as per my knowledge. Even the internship last year, as I've seen my seniors do. Just classes were taught in the classroom for a few days, and that was it. They got the internship certificate. Other institutions are giving opportunities to their students to go out in the field and do practical work, but not here. So far, I haven't heard about any placement offered for pass-outs of our college, since the courses offered here are limited, only Arts and Commerce stream.
Infrastructure: Every class has fans and whiteboards. The overall design of the classroom is decent. Though the quality of desks and benches can be improved, many of those make noise, and each classroom has different sorts of desks and benches, thus, it would be better if they could provide a comfortable desk and chair like that of the 1st semester political. Science Department room is available for all the classes. The quality of food served there is good, but the variety changes on a daily basis, so consistency should be there. There are some basic medical facilities, and sports are included in the college week only.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, some of the teachers are very experienced, knowledgeable, and well-versed. In every semester, old teachers leave, and new ones come who have less experience. Thus, it's difficult for the students to adjust again and again. The curriculum is relevant if you want to join the teaching line, but not for industries. Exams are quite easy, out of 20, 8 is the passing mark.
Other: I chose Political Science because I was interested in studying the administrative and political affairs of the State, and also I was aiming to appear for civil services examinations. The best things about this course are that it gave me exposure to the rights & duties I have as responsible citizens, how countries work, and what factors influence their relationships with each other. Also got to learn how Political Science as a discipline emerged and who the thinkers were who played an important role in this. Things I wish were better are response and responsible staffing. I missed scholarship for Ishan Uday Scholarship, which could really help me financially for further studies. That was only available for 1st year sem students, and I couldn't apply for it because the college had given the wrong eKYC to the higher authorities, and that year no one could get a scholarship. The programmes and all are nice, we really enjoy them, especially during college week. The surroundings are also very beautiful it's located on top of a hill. I only wish there were trees surrounding the campus where we can sit in the shade. It's difficult to come by public transport, as it's far from the urban area.
