Kaziranga University provides hostel facilities to students seeking accomodation facility at the university. The university has 2-seater, 3-seater, and 4-seater rooms. Kaziranga University offers a BA (Hons) in Sociology. To be eligible to pursue BA (Hons) at the university, applicants must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognised board. They must have scored at least 45% in Class 12. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have obtained a minimum of 40% in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.

Sociology graduates of Kaziranga University are eligible to pursue Group A and Group B services in government organisations. They must appear for competitive exams, such as UPSC CSE, UPSC IFoS, RBI Grade B, State PCS and SSC CGL to secure a job in the government sector.
