The placement is very bad in our college as we want some good company to come to our college for placements.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

The B.Tech course at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, is a disaster.
Placements: There are no proper placements for students of ECE. No core companies visit the university. Only sales companies and some startups usually come here for placements. The college does not even provide proper training for placements. The starting average package offered ranges from 2.4-4.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: I would rate 0 out of 10 for labs. I have done most labs, and I can assure students that the college doesn't even have all kits in labs. Most of them don't work properly anymore. We have to go for the online lab provided by IITs, and don't talk about labs which have to be completed on the software (simulation one). They don't even tell us what we have to do. No one will help us in labs. I would rate 10 out of 10 for the library, and it has all books. Classrooms are normal like schools.
Faculty: I would rate 2 out of 10 for teachers. The knowledge does not matter if the person doesn’t want to teach. We have to complete every single subject on YouTube. Overall, it is bad. The course curriculum is Old, and it is from the 2012 curriculum. No change is expected at all. Exams are very easy (it only takes one night for preparation), but are irregular in nature. There is no proper timetable. There is one semester for 7 months and another one for 4 months. Odd semesters are written while even ones have MCQs. The exam pattern is trash. Teachers will sit in their cabin, and they don't even try to look at our problems during lab.
Other: It is not recommended at all. If we only need a degree, then we can go for it, or else, it is absolutely no. We will not get water( drinking as well as in washrooms). Teachers are literally rude. 75 percent attendance is compulsory, or else we will fail, or we will be targeted by teachers. We have to wear a uniform, or else we can't enter the campus.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019

My college days-untold story.
Placements: Less percent of my batch got placed, and no companies came there. The highest placement that the student got was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. We got good opportunities to get internships. The top role offered by the recruiters was a data analyst.
Infrastructure: Everything was available in limited, giving us everything like Wi-Fi, labs, a classroom, a library, and infrastructure was good. The quality of food was average, college was good in game and sports. If you talk about the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, it was average. Medical facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. The semester exam pattern was good because you needed to understand how to prepare yourself, and 40 percent is what you need to get, this was very relevant with a curriculum activities.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

Do not take admission in this college, you will regret it if you do.
Placements: There is absolutely no placement in the college. There were placements before the COVID pandemic, but now there are none. They only provided the link to the mass placement for the mass hiring for TCS and Wipro. Other than that, there is no sign of placements in the college.
Infrastructure: Only 2-3 classrooms are there. The building is very small to be called a college. The building was previously a garage, and they won't even let you sit in the computer lab. The computers in the lab are running the oldest hardware known to mankind.
Faculty: Teachers were not very attentive to what they are teaching. They seem to be less educated than the students, and the management is one of the worst things I've seen so far. They care very little for the students. They only care about the fees they get from the students.
Other: I strongly advise against taking admission in this college. There are no proper toilets to use, and talk about the education.

Great professors and principal.
Placements: There are no placements at all. It is a government college so no placements happen. Even in UNIS, as DU I do not think there are placement opportunities for Bachelor degree holders. This much to be expected. You do not join this college to get a job but to get a degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is of old times. No new buildings or halls are being built even now. Wi-Fi is sucky at best only works in the library and surrounding areas with the least speed possible. There are no labs as far as I can remember. Classrooms are spacious but thats all.
Faculty: Faculty is friendly and both depend on who you work with. Exams are easy. I personally know some professors who would teach you alone, while others do not join. Its great if you find the right person who will be your mentor. 70 percent faculty is great.

B.A. (Hons.) in Hindi - Batch of 2026
4.2

In all, I want to say my university is one of the best.
Placements: In my course, about 60-70% students got placed, and the package lasts between 5-7 LPA according to person to person. In my course literature, there is a provided job. About 70% got an internship with a variety of companies. In my course, you get the role of poet, story writer, and editor.
Infrastructure: At university, you will get all types of facilities free of cost, like free Wi-Fi, labs (all types of labs), in the classroom, there is peaceful environment, and teachers give lectures. Hostel in one room, 2-person share and the bed is average, the water system is so good.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated. They have Ph.D. in their field. All teachers are helpful and resolve questions. The course helps students build a career. Semester exams are average. If you work hard, you will get good marks. There is no percentage, there are SPGA.

Bachelor of Computer Appication (BCA Hons.) - Batch of 2022

There has been a lot of improvement in the faculty now.
Placements: It is not good for placements, very few companies participate. I completed B.CA (Hons.) in 2022 when the faculty was not so good, but now it has become much better than before. There were no placements during my time at the university. Last time I heard, someone got a package of 6.5 LPA for the B. Teach course.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, it is good. There are more courses, and the hostel is also good. The quality of food was also average at that time, but we can say that it was worth eating and it wasn't that bad.
Faculty: Teachers at our time were both helpful and knowledgeable. The course is relevant to the curriculum and makes students industry-ready. I can say the semester exams are average. This college is not that big, so it is very difficult to say about average. To pass, you must have a minimum of 23 marks in each subject after deducting practical marks.
Other: My course is B.CA (Hons.). I believe this course is right for me. According to me, it is very important to practice in the lab. One must be alert and also pay attention to the teacher to see whether he is teaching properly or not.

Direct admissions are usually not given at the university. Bundelkhand University, Jhansi generally offers admissions through entrance basis. Even for merit-based selection, fulfilling the minimum eligibility is needed. However, students can connect with the university to know more.
