The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 60% marks (relaxable up to 57% for Scheduled Caste and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates) from a recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Agriculture (PCA) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture (CBA) as subjects.

Additionally, candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the selection process, the university and its constituent college accept the scores of entrance exams—ICAR CUET/ CCSHAU entrance exam, followed by a counselling process.
