The CUET PG 2026 exam notification was announced by the National Testing Agency on December 14, 2025, for candidates willing to take admission in master's degree programmes. In order to appear for the examination, interested applicants could fill and submit the CUET PG application form 2026 by January 23, 2026. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 2026, till 11.50 PM. The CUET PG 2026 application fee has remained the same as last year. Candidates' application process will be considered successful only when they pay the online CUET PG registration fee mentioned by NTA in the CUET PG Notification 2026.

CUET PG application form 2026 was released on December 14, 2025, to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programs like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and other professional degrees like MBA, BEd, LLB, and LLM courses. The last date was January 23, 2026.
Only one application had to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed to fill more than one Application Form.
NTA released the CUET PG 2026 information brochure and exam notification on December 14, 2025. Candidates have to select four city choices while filling the CUET PG 2026 application form. The city choices have to be entered in order of preference within their present and permanent address. Based on this, NTA will allot the exam centre. NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among the candidates' selected choices.
Filling out the form is the first and mandatory step to appearing for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) exam. Without a valid application, you won't be able to take the test and therefore, get admission to any participating university. CUET PG Registration Fee 2026 Category-wise
The registration fee for the general category is INR 1,400, for the selection of up to two test papers. For an additional paper, INR 700 has to be paid. Also, the application fee outside India is INR 7,000 for the selection of up to two subjects, and INR 3,500 for additional papers. CUET PG Fees 2026: OBC Category
For the CUET PG 2026 exam, candidates could fill out a maximum of four city preferences. Although initially, NTA announced the selection of two exam cities, as per a later notification, candidates could choose four exam cities in their present or permanent address.
You need to follow these nationalities rules before filling CUET PG application form:
Firstly student must be an Indian citizen.
A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan.
A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.
Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.
NTA had started the CUET PG 2026 application process on December 14, 2025, at the official website for admissions to the master's degree programmes offered at various participating institutes.
CUET PG registration process 2026 was completely online, and candidates could fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2026 was January 23, 2026. Originally, the last date of application was January 14, 2026, which was extended till January 20 and January 23. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 11.50 PM.
Students from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category typically pay lower tuition fees compared to those in the General category. The fee structure for OBC-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories is determined in accordance with government policies and based on the supporting documentation provided by candidates during the application process.

One of the important stages of filling out the CUET PG 2026 application form is the selection of the exam cities and test papers.
The CUET PG 2026 exam centres will be conducted in 292 cities in total. Out of this, 286 will be located in India, and 16 will be located outside India. Candidates have to select four cities in preferential order.

How to Pay CUET PG Registration Fee 2026
After filling the CUET PG 2026 application form, candidates must pay the application fee in the following manner.
- Candidates must check the validity of the Debit/ Credit Card and keep it ready while logging on to the website- cuet.samarth.ac.in to submit the CUET PG 2026 application form. The candidates must enter the information asked for and make payment through a Debit/ Credit Card.
- Through Net Banking, candidates must ensure to check the balance in their account and keep all credentials ready while logging in. The candidates should log in with his/her credentials of net banking and make payments accordingly.
- For payment through a UPI Service, students must check whether there is a requisite balance in the Bank Account / Wallet to which the concerned UPI is linked.
- For payment through Paytm, applicants must check whether there is a requisite balance in the Account / Wallet to which it is linked.

The National Testing Agency, or the exam conducting body, had extended the last date of application twice. Originally, the last date of CUET PG 2026 registration was January 14, which was extended till January 20, followed by January 23. The application fee could be paid by January 25.
