Candidates must complete a four-year bachelor's degree programme or a two-year master's degree programme after a three-year bachelor's degree programme with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories) to apply for School of Economics and Commerce, CMR University PhD programme. 

Candidates need to complete Class 12 or equivalent in any stream to apply for School of Management, CMR University BBA/ BBA (Hons) programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must also pass CMRUAT for admission.

School of Management, CMR University offers three courses at UG and PG levels. The school under CMR University offers BBA/ BBA (Hons) at the UG level. At the PG level, the school offers MBA and Executive MBA programmes. Admission to the offered courses is based on CMRUAT. The school also accepts CAT, MAT, CMAT, KMAT, etc. for admission to MBA courses.

School of Management, CMR University admissions are currently open. Interested candidates can apply for admission online for the preferred course. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 for CMRUAT. Admission to offered programmes is entrance-based. The school considers scores in national, state or university-level entrance exams.

School of Economics and Commerce, CMR University admission to PhD programme is based on an entrance test conducted by the university. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round. The exact date, time and venue of the exam is communicated to each shortlisted candidate. The final results are announced once the scores obtained by the candidates in their PG examination, entrance examination and personal interview are consolidated.
