Overall the college is perfect for a start.
Placements: About 80-90 percent of the students got placed in my batch. The highest package for my course is 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Accenture come to the campus and most of the roles are for the B.A. and BDE. The internships have to be through your own connections.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the college is okay but the level of studies always compensates equally for the infrastructure. There is no sports area or anything.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have the knowledge for their respective subjects. The course is relevant to the industry they make students corporate-ready. The difficulty of exams is moderate and can be cleared easily if you participate in your classes.
Other: I chose this course because of the professionalism. The best thing for my course is personality development, they can include more technology skills in the college. We have major events like energy for the sports in which 3 colleges of VSEC take part and have cultural event named Srijan.

Placements: Placement at CSJMU is average to moderate, depending on the courses. In the technical courses like B.Tech, BCA, and MBA, placement opportunities are comparatively better than in the non-technical stream. Around 60 to 80% get placed in some courses. The average package is around three to four LPA, while the highest packages go up to 10 to 12 LPA. The median salary is approximately 3.2 LPA for UG courses and higher for PG courses.
Infrastructure: CSJMU is spread over around 260 plus acres, providing a peaceful and student-friendly environment. The university offers well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and a central library with a wide collection of academic books and digital resources. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in many areas, especially libraries and departments. The campus also includes a sports ground, gym, auditorium, medical facilities, canteen, and an extracurricular activities area, which helps in overall student development. Lab and modern facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The faculty at CSJMU is generally qualified and knowledgeable, with many teachers having good academic experience. Most teachers are helpful and supportive, although the quality of teaching can vary from department to department. Some faculty members focus more on theoretical knowledge, while a few also guide students in practical and project work. Placements: The placement season for 2026 has shown a strong recovery in core engineering and a specialised focus on AI data science. Placement statistics typically range from 85-90% in tier-1/tier-2 colleges for Computer Science and IT branches. Other branches have 100 percent placements.
Infrastructure: In most learning, technical, and management institutes today, the infrastructure is designed to be smarter and more integrated with Wi-Fi and connectivity. Most campuses now offer high-speed 5G or Wi-Fi connectivity. The mess should be changed. Students should be committed to deciding the menu. Quality is generally hygienic, but can feel repetitive.
Faculty: Faculty members' experience in engineering often fails to meet qualifications. Most tier-1 and tier-2 colleges now mandate a PhD for permanent faculty members. Senior professors obtain a BG with research, and the younger assistant professors are very approachable.
Other: I chose this college because the primary devices are high with ROI and the growing reputation of the UIT. The best thing is academic support, but faculty members are not well-qualified. However, they are supportive of students' personal growth. It is a government Institute and accredited with an A grade. It provides a recognised degree.

Placements: More than 75 percent of students are placed from our course. The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. 3. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, IBM, etc. More than 70 percent of students got placed in companies like HCL, Wipro, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our department are very supportive and always motivate us. The labs and classrooms are well developed and the seats are comfortable. Here is Wi-fi available which we can use for our needs. The hostel facility is also available for only girls. The hostel faculty is also very supportive. The mess, canteen, and medical facility are also very good. There is a sports coach and games are held on time, and tournaments also happen.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is very different, they always try to give us an understanding of topics using realistic examples. The course curriculum is relevant for students and makes them industry-ready. Due to the guidance of teachers semester exams look very easy. The pass percentage is more than 70 percent. The students who did not take the classes failed.
Other: There are so many job opportunities in this course which is why I chose this course. The best thing is that we are getting close to the very helpful tech field and we also learn new IT-related things. I think the training period must be exceeded. In our college events, fest, campus crowd, and connectivity are timely held with a proper management team. More than 65 percent of students got a scholarship in our course.

My college is the best in the city.
Placements: 60% students were placed in my course. The lowest package was 1 LPA, and the highest package was 5 LPA. There was no recruiting company, students got an internship with an external company. Students were forced to hire an external company for their job hiring. College provides everything except an internship company.
Infrastructure: The facilities in my college were above average because it was the 2nd biggest college in the city. There was Wi-Fi available, smart classes were also available, and a hostel facility was provided. In sports, there were every court and stadium like badminton, hockey, basketball, football, cricket, racing, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and sometimes very strict. They were well qualified and experienced, and the study environment was very good. I would say not every activity in college was helpful for industry readiness, but some of them were very helpful. Semester exams were difficult to pass.
Other: For my course, this college is the best college in my city.
