College is average, not great.
Placements: The placement is pretty average in DBS. Till now, the top companies that recruited students from DBS are Wipro, HCL, BP, and various other companies or MNCs. Packages are pretty average for MBA it's like 12 LPA is maximum and for bachelors, it's like 3 LPA-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: DBS does have a lot of labs such as SAS lab, IT labs, etc. We do have 2 big libraries for studying and issuing books. Classrooms are well-functioning with projectors and ACs. Canteens are a bit hygienic but serve great food. We do have sports corners like football court, volleyball court, and basketball court. We do have a gym both for girls and boys. Hostel rooms are also spacious and clean with proper functioning with great ambiance.
Faculty: There are some faculty members that are very knowledgeable but on the other hand, most of the faculty are not permanent so they leave college in the middle way which disturbs the study cycle of the students. Exams are conducted pretty well. They conduct midterms, end terms, and final exams. Meanwhile, during the semester faculty members conduct quizzes or class tests and the level of difficulty is from easy to not very hard. They do conduct real-life industry visits for the students.

Absolutely satisfied with my college as my faculty members are very supportive.
Placements: 100% placements. Recruiting companies are Axis Bank, Deloitte, IDBI Bank, HCL, HAFELE, Asian Paints, and Zara. 99% of students get secure internships. Roles offered in B.Com Honours are in banking, consulting, financial services, insurance, management, and technology.
Infrastructure: Facilities are up to mark. Hygiene is a priority in the mess. The food is good. It boasts a hostel with amenities like 24/7 electricity and water, Wi-Fi, common TV rooms, and basic necessities, along with facilities for academic and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with a supportive nature and expertise in their respective fields. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging due to the depth of the curriculum and the emphasis on practical application.
Other: I chose this course to get deep knowledge in the commerce field.

Best hostel, Buzzing Campus & Highly define placements!
Placements: Last year placement results were outstanding, average package for B.Com (Hons) was around 5.75 lacs and the highest was around 13 lacs. Relationship managers, marketing managers, risk assessment offices were major roles offered especially for the B.Com (Hons) batch. Companies like ICICI, Dabur, Mahindra Finance, Bajaj, JP Morgan, Grand Thorton were major recruiters for B.Com (Hons). .
Infrastructure: The best hostel of Dehradun so far is the new residence (new boys hostel) with really good facilities. Trust me, the new hostel facilities are the best in the city, no other college is offering such a lavish hostel. Students usually call it more like a hotel because of the superb facilities being offered. Mess food has really improved over time and the elevator are also there. All varieties of food, south indian, chinese, veg non veg options are there.
Faculty: All faculty members are having experience of more than 15 years, in the college only mostly they are from last 5-6 years, most B.Com (Hons) teachers are CA and CS. Atul Rawat sir, Neha Kukreti MA'am, Pitresh sir are truly very dedicated towards clearing concepts. Nobody can sleep in the class because the teaching way is so interesting.

Placements: Above 60% of the students get selected after an interview and you have to do well in that interview to get admission. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA in this course. Companies like Infosys visit the campus. Above 70% of the students gets internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college and there are several labs and classrooms with air-conditioners. We have 2 libraries and there are many sports fields like basketball, football, badminton as well as tennis. There is also a dance club. The quality of the hostel is quite good and the mess food is average. The canteen food is quite good than the mess.
Faculty: The teaching quality is above average and teachers are very good and highly qualified. They are extremely knowledgeable and always try to understand students. The course is extremely good and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite tough.
Other: I opted for this course to know something new. More practical classes should be implemented. Many events are held, every week other is an activity class.

As a student, I am satisfied and dissatisfied at the same time.
Placements: In this college, we find very decent placements. As I am doing my bachelor's degree, my seniors have been placed in different companies like Infosys, Times of India, Reliance, etc. The students also get good placements in internships as companies come to college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent in our college as it has 3 different course buildings and 2 hostels, one for boys and another for girls. It also has a football ground, a badminton court, and a basketball court. Wi-Fi facilities are also available all around the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very supportive and the way of teaching is very interactive. It makes students industry-ready. The curriculum they follow matches the one at Delhi University. The difficulty level of the semester exam is decent.
Other: We have 3 events per year conducted in our college.

Decent in respect to studies, but the dissatisfaction part is the campus and the location.
Placements: It has a decent placement. The students got placed in Infosys, Amazon Flipkart, and some more, the catch is not everyone gets placed. If someone is willing to get placed, then I would recommend them not be dependent on college, and work on their own.
Infrastructure: It has a decent infrastructure. The hostel rooms are also not as expected, it is small but adjustable. The library is quite small. They have one football ground, one basketball court, two badminton courts, and one auditorium. Inside the campus, they also have 3canteens.
Faculty: The syllabus and the curriculum followed by the school is good, and it is similar to Delhi University. They conduct 6exams throughout the year, you can say 3exams per semester which comprise one midterm, one end term, and the last one University end term.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the B.Com course nearly 90% of the students got placement in companies like hdfc idfc Dabur etc. The average package was 6.2 lacs, the lowest was 2 lacs and the highest was 8 LPA. The internship starts from the 2nd tar itself in the college which gives the students work experience and makes them industry ready.
Infrastructure: The college has 2 libraries and has 2 wi-fis in each floor of the college. The college campus is nearly 7.5acres big. The college has 2 hostels ( 1 for girls and 1 for boys). The hostel mess serves varieties of foods each day and their quality is descent.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and are qualified. The B.Com course is curriculum relevant and makes the students Industry ready. The semester exams here are a bit difficult which ultimately makes the students prepared for the university exams.

DBS is an amazing college with best in class facilities related to all things.
Placements: Around 95% of students were placed in some top companies such as Berger paints which offered a role of sales officer INR 5.5 Lacs per annum, Axis Bank offered a role of TBR manager INR 4 Lacs per annum, ICICI PRUDENTIAL offered a role of MT, and others are Aargus Global Logistics, Indigo Paints, Asian Heart Institutes, HDFC, recruited students in January 2021.
Infrastructure: Every class is equipped with ACs, smart boards and clean washroom on each floor, and the whole campus has very strict disciplinary rules & regulations including COVID rules. DBS has two libraries, one is for subject books and the 2nd is for other books. Canteen is loaded with variety of foods, football ground, basketball court, badminton court and other activities are available too.
Faculty: Teachers provide best in class knowledge with real life examples and practical knowledge. Most teachers have PhDs in their own subjects. Curriculum mostly hits the university's syllabus and at every week college organizes a guest lecture in which mostly entrepreneurs join and give their valuable thoughts. And in every semester, college organizes industrial visits at top renowned industries.
