All About DCRUST From a DCRUSTian.
Placements: In my course, which is Chemical Engineering, records say that 50 percent placement rate. As I know from my seniors, students who are eligible for placement are selected and placed by the campus itself. The average package is around 6–8 LPA. Recruiting companies that visit my university include Punjab Chemical, Crystal Crops, and many more. Students in my course are getting internships on a reference basis, especially in IOCL, NFL, and IIMs.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. There is a 300-acre campus with 4 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is easily available in both the hostel and the library. My university has a very beautiful and large library, including a reading room. Quality of food provided in the hostel is quite low. But the canteen food is good to consume. Sports and medical facilities are excellent. Our university supports students who participate in any sport or game.
Faculty: Teachers are usually very helpful, but some teachers are a little strict and egoistic. Teachers have Ph.D. degrees in their respective domains. The previous course curriculum was not very relevant, but the new curriculum for the 2024 batch is quite good for making students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. You can easily pass the exams by revising concepts, PYQs, and having a little more conceptual knowledge. You need to score 42 out of 100 in total to pass the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because it was a unique course. Only this university provides it. I thought that with a low JEE score, I could only manage a Chemical Engineering branch in a B.Tech program at a state government university. If the course had better private placements and less risk in work, it would be perfect for becoming a Chemical Engineer. There is a higher risk and hazardous risk in the industry, especially for people working there. Events and fests are good. The campus crowd is not very disciplined, as many students only enjoy recording videos of old Haryanvi songs. The campus surroundings are spectacular and for extracurricular activities. Students can join societies like singing, dancing, literature, and many more.

DCRUST college review by a DCRUST student.
Placements: The placement of the DCRUST Murthal is average. The placement of the CSE branch is better than that of other branches, and the placement of electrical is also good, but the placement of the lower branches is not good. The average placement of CSE is 7 LPA, and the highest off-campus placement is 26 LPA by 1 student.
Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure, and there are a total of 7 hostels in the college: 4 for boys and 3 for girls. All the hostels have good facilities, all the hostels are well maintained, and there are good labs in the college, and all the labs have internet and AC facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum of college is old, and there are two mid-semester exams followed by 1 end semester exam. There are 75 marks in the end-of-semester exam, and there is a 75% attendance criterion for all the branches. If you do not fulfil the requirements, you will be excluded from the exam. The faculty is very supportive.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it. There is also a festival conducted in the college.

It is a good college for those who are finding a affordable college.
Placements: Top companies come here to recruit students. The highest package offered is 21 LPA. A good number of placements are done. The lowest package offered here is 3 LPA. There is a good rate of placement in this college. Students can trust the recruiting process.
Infrastructure: It needs a better infrastructure, such as buildings and a canteen. These facilities can be improved for a better campus experience. Better facilities will attract more students to pursue their degrees here. Otherwise a good place to study and enjoy campus life.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and supportive. Their knowledge capacity is also good. They teach the whole syllabus effectively and completely at the right time without wasting any time. Doubts are cleared then and there. A trustworthy environment is provided.
Other: The best thing about my course and the reason I chose this is that it teaches me a lot about business and the business environment in India and across the world.

60-90 percent of placements, decent infrastructure, and average faculty.
Placements: At our campus, 60-80 percent of students receive job offers at graduation with package values ranging from 6 LPA to 10 LPA. A few of the companies that hire from our school include Amazon, Bajaj, and Yakult. About 90 percent of students received an internship while attending school. Marketing Trainee and Analyst are some of the positions we place students in. This is a great way to start your corporate career successfully.
Infrastructure: The facilities are acceptable. Wi-Fi access is good, the library is good, the labs are adequate, the hostel rooms are clean, but small. The mess food is average and needs to have more variety. The sports and medical facilities are available both could be improved.
Faculty: The educators are excellent with great expertise and resources. These instructors deliver excellent value for their teaching efforts as well as provide excellent educational assistance to students. The coursework provides real-world experience relevant to the job market enabling students to enter into the workforce immediately upon completing their education. The final exams for each semester are quite fair with a 95 percent pass rate.
Other: I chose this course to improve my career potential. The most favourable aspects were the encouragement of other students and the connections among students. I would like to see more industry trips and bigger events. I believe the benefit of accessing extracurricular activities and scholarships has been significant. The campus environment has been extremely tranquil and uplifting.

It is the best college for engineering.
Placements: I am part of the 2023-24 batch of this course. About 70-80 percent of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 3-8 LPA. The average package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include reputed industry companies. 70 percent of students got internships in well-known organisations.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a good library, and a Wi-Fi campus. The hostel facilities are clean and comfortable. Mess and canteen food are decent. Basic medical care, sports grounds, and indoor games are also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry- ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is high, and it is around 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose this course for its strong career scope and practical learning. The best parts of the course are industry-focused training and supportive faculty members. I should provide more industry exposure, which can improve the course. The campus hosts good events, an active crowd, and easy connectivity.

Good college with good knowledge.
Placements: Almost 95 out of 100 students were placed in my course and others moved to further studies. The highest package in my course was 20 LPA and the lowest package was 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. Almost 90 out of 100 students got internships in my course. Software engineer, tester, etc. roles were offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Good facilities are available in Puran Murti campus and very good infrastructure is available for my course. Best computer labs for coding. Best computers with good processing speed. All books are available in the library. Good facilities are available in the hostel. Daily new variety of food is available. I like that.
Faculty: Mostly teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable because they provide the best teaching quality. This course curriculum is relevant because it provides the best practical knowledge and experience. This makes the students industry ready. Students who like practical knowledge easily crack the exams.
Other: Nowadays technology is increasing. All are using apps and websites and I like coding. The best thing about my course is programming language. We have to add some more projects. There are events every 1 or 2 months which increase our multiple skills.
