The poor campus life but fine education.

Faculty: Professors and faculty members are fine and provide good knowledge. The teaching quality is good. Some professors are good and supportive but most of them are not helpful at all. They don't even take the classes regularly. The curriculum is relevant but outdated, they still prefer the old methodology of teaching regardless of the modern techniques.

It has a chill campus life and a good area.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and can make everything easy. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly. The course curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. Exams are moderately tough but manageable with preparation. The pass percentage is generally high.

I would suggest choosing a better college.

Faculty: Teachers are not that good, and they are morally low. Students get knowledge just to pass exams, nothing more than that. Semester exams are made very tough. We get only 8 questions from the entire syllabus, out of which we have to attempt 5.

My real experiences with Dcrust.

Faculty: Most of the professors are very supportive, and they are ready to help students. The professors are very well qualified, mostly from IITs. Some of them are very strict about assignments and attendance criteria. There are three exams in a semester. Two minor exams and one major exam at the end of the semester, marking of exams is quite strict.

Average college and hostel life.

Faculty: Faculty is not interested in teaching the students, and very rarely do teachers take interest in teaching us. Curriculum is old and has not been updated in years. Exams are held regularly, but the checking process is not transparent and has a few faults, that is why they do not take action.

My college provides education at a relatively lower cost, but I am dissatisfied with the placements.

Faculty: Only few teachers are good, but most of them don't know how to teach. The course curriculum is totally irrelevant; it doesn't make anyone industry ready. Semester exams are easy, but students don't want to study; therefore, the pass percentage of this institution is very poor.

College and campus at DCRUST

Faculty: Department faculty are average and some are good too, but there is not much bonding between students and teachers. Exams are held on campus, so that is good. But the course curriculum is outdated; some subjects are still from the ’90s. Overall, I can say it is below average.

Our college offers a lot of facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help us with study material. Some of them are PhD holders and professors. The course provides a relevant curriculum to help students prepare for the industries. The semester exams are not so difficult, and the passing percentage is 30%.

Choose B.Teach wisely, not as a rat race.

Faculty: Some professors are excellent. They have great knowledge, but in front of the bad system, everyone has to become the same. It’s like a school to attend 4 years of university. A curriculum of mass ree to create the percentage of students less eligible for placements in documents. Some good students, although scoring well, sometimes also become prey of mass ree. For example, in a class of 45 students in which 20+ are placed in mechanical, their degree extension placement got cancelled only because...

DCRUST: Empowering my BCA journey with knowledge, innovation, and opportunities.

Faculty: Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across different faculties. The curriculum and examination procedures are designed to meet the academic standards and requirements of each programme, with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

College is overall moderate.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not as difficult as they may seem, as the questions are mostly based on methods and theories, without going too deep. Under the previous scheme, the passing marks are 30 out of 75. However, with the introduction of the new scheme, the passing marks are now 40 out of 100.

Just dissatisfied with placements here.

Faculty: Now the curriculum is according to NEP 2020, and it's quite good from the previous curriculum. But the faculty members here are supportive, especially of the CSE department, they have great knowledge, and their teaching style is good. As it is a government college, it's cost-effective.
