The reserved category candidates are required to produce their the latest Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, which clearly mentions that they do not fall under the Creamy Layer as per the State Government's the latest provision. Additionally, there are horizontal reservations for specially abled (Divyang), dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen and martyrs of war, security personnel handicapped in war or their dependents, dependents of Kargil War martyrs, displaced Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Pandits residing in the Kashmir Valley dependents of Kashmiri Hindu families, and servicemen and their dependents. The maximum reservation is 10% of the total number of seats for admission in Undergraduate programmes.
