Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre admissions are entrance-based. DR DYPMCHR courses' admissions are based on entrance exam scores. The university offers courses, such as MBBS, MD, MS, etc., at the UG and PG level. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers fellowship, PhD and certificate courses.

The candidate should have passed from a recognized university as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. They also need to have completed an internship for six months. Completion of an internship is mandatory.
