JEE Mains 2025 Question Paper: Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2025 exam for B.Tech over 10 days in two sessions. Candidates can check the JEE Mains 2025 question paper with solutions shift-wise below. By practising these now, you will be able to test your knowledge and have ample time to work on your weaknesses. Recently, the authority announced that the JEE Main 2026 exam will be held in its usual bi-annual format. The JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 1 is January 21 to 30 and for session 2 is April 2 to 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 Registration has started for session 1 exam.

There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.
JEE Main question paper is in English, Hindi and language selected when you filled application form. In total, JEE Main is in 13 languages and you can select any language out of available options. You cannot switch language of question paper during exam.
Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in JEE Main are mentioned below:
- Physics: Current Electricity Waves AC, Magnetism, Laws of Motion Work, Power and Energy.
- Chemistry the high weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry.
- Mathematics, the high weightage topics are Sequence and Series Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, Definite and Indefinite Integral.

Students must practice the JEE Main PYQs in a systematic order. Merely solving the questions at your own pace or reading through the JEE Main previous year question paper with solutions will not benefit candidates.

- Sit in a quiet room and set your timer for 3 hours.
- Solve the questions within this time duration.
- Match the answers and your responses to see which questions you have attempted correctly and incorrectly.
- Note down the questions where your responses were incorrect.
- Identify the topic that the questions are framed.
- Study that particular topic again using NCERTs, reference books and watching video lectures.
- Take sectional mocks if required, and reattempt another past year JEE Main question paper to test your knowledge.
