The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for YSP admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
A few more updates are given below:
- The MAT 2026 PBT mode registration deadline for admission to the MBA course has passed. For the PBT mode, the exam will be held on May 31, 2026. Further, for the CBT mode, the registration window is open till Jun 8, 2026, for the exam scheduled for Jun 14, 2026.
YSP University Highlights 2025
YSP University (YSPU), Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry is a good college in Solan, HP. The university is named after the first Chief Minister of the state & extends higher education, research, & extension education in Horticulture, Forestry, & allied disciplines. YSPU's history lies in the Himachal Agricultural College (1962) that held affiliation from the Panjab University. It was given the university status & present-day name in 1985. YSPU holds recognition from the UGC & is also a member of the AIU.
YSP University has four constituent colleges that offer two undergraduate, two postgraduate, & one doctoral programme in various specialisations. Dr.Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry admission is based on the in-house entrance exam for the normal seats and merit-based for the self-finance seats. Candidates must qualify the BSc eligibility criteria as per the university's admission guidelines. Class 12 with 50% aggregate in English, Chemistry, Biology, etc., from a recognised university.
Hence, direct admission is not applicable for the BSc course at Dr. YSP University.
The last date to apply for the BSc course at Dr. YSP University BSc deadline for the normal seats is on first week of June Whereas, the last date to apply for the self-finance cours is estimately in the last week of June. Students must visit the official website to fill the application form.
Dr. Y. S. Parmar University doesn't accepts CUET for admission to its BSc course. The university conducts its own undergaduate entrance test (UGET) for admission to its BSc course.
