Gondwana University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university considers entrance exams such as MAH CET, MHT CET, CAT, MAT, JEE Main, etc. for admission to BE, MBA, BPharm and other courses. The merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam is considered for BCom, MCom, BCA, BBA, etc. Once selected, the university releases a merit list on the university website. 

Gondwana University may provide direct admission to second year of a few programme. However, the regular admission is entrance or merit-based. The university considers entrance exams such as MAH CET, MHT CET, CAT, MAT, etc. for admission to specific programmes. Once selected, aspirants need to participate in counselling and seat allotment round for final admission.

Gondwana University offers more than 30 courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate and doctoral levels. The courses are offered at campus and through affiliated colleges. The university offers programmes in multiple streams such as Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, etc. Admission to Gondwana University courses is based on merit in the qualifying exam or entrance exam scores.
