Himachal Pradesh Technical University is one of the best Technical University located at Hamirpur.The college provides great placement in IT courses. Admission to B.Tech is based on merit score of the entrance test or qualifying exam JEE. Candidate must have scored a minimum 50%  marks in 10+2 from recognised board of education 

The merit screening for candidate selection at ICFAI University, Himachal, for the BSc programme is conducted based on the performance in the interview process. Prospective students must to have completed Higher Secondary School with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Applicants are assessed and ranked based on their most recent qualifying exam performance. Cipla is the top recruiting company for our course.The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. Most students were placed in Capgemini and Wipro. Capgemini, Wipro, and Infosys etc., are the top recruiters.
