Nothing is good about this college. The teaching quality and standard of living are very poor.

Placements: Only 5–10% of students get placements in this course. The highest package offered by the college is 6 LPA, while the minimum package is 2 LPA. No renowned companies approach the students, and no internships are available on campus.

Infrastructure: The college lacks good infrastructure. Facilities are very below average. There is no Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are below average, although they are maintained. The mess food quality is very poor. Sports and games facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers are sometimes helpful and sometimes not. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is average. The semester exams are very difficult, and the checking is quite strict. The pass percentage is 33%.

Best for B.Ed in Himachal.

Placements: I don't know about the whole batch, but there is an interviewing international school that comes once in September month, and 6 students give interviews there, out of which 5 get placed in that school. You can check it out on the official GCTE Dharamshala FB page.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are okay and airy, well-furnished, and all are equipped with an LCD panel. Also, you can enjoy 5G Wi-Fi in almost every campus room of this college. Also, the library is good enough for the students who are preparing for teaching-related exams.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful and well-qualified in their field. The course is tiring, as most of the day is spent there, as a science student, you can find that you are in the wrong place. Semester exams are easy but lengthy, as you have to write at least 5-6 pages per question of a unit.

Other: I choose it because I don't have any other option. It's good, though sometimes I think I am in the wrong place because you are almost always busy and cannot prepare for your own exams along with it. But the environment is good if you are just here for B.Ed. Almost every day and every month, there are small events organized by different clubs of the college to engage students and creativity. You can get different state scholarships with it through NSP.

It has decent infrastructure, spacious classrooms, qualified & supportive teachers, but poor Wi-Fi.

Placements: Placements for Science students are non-existent. On-campus drives focus entirely on engineering/IT. Science graduates get zero campus recruitment, leaving students to either apply off-campus independently or pursue higher studies. (M.Sc/Ph.D).

Infrastructure: The campus offers decent infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious and clean, though basic. Computer labs and the library are well-stocked and functional. Wi-Fi is available but occasionally slow. Hostel rooms are manageable though the mess food needs improvement.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. They are approachable and supportive. Most professors hold advanced degrees and explain core concepts well. But a few stick strictly to traditional teaching methods. The overall academic guidance and mentorship are solid.

Other: The college offers an average experience overall. Infrastructure is decent, and faculty members are helpful and well-qualified. However, placements are mediocre with limited core opportunities, and campus life is fairly standard with basic events.

Dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: I don't know about the percentage, but honestly, it's bad. Also, the package is bad. I don't know the exact details, but one guy from our college gets Rs. 10,000 a month for working as a sales representative in a Maruti Suzuki showroom. It's a top recruiter at our college, to be honest. New roles are coming, according to what our college tells us. For example, working with a CA and getting a Rs. 7,000 stipend.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. All of it is broken by students. The toilets are trash. You can't even go through that area. The water facility is bad. It has still water and is very dirty. The library is average, as is the computer lab. Most PCs in our college are filled with viruses. The area is dusty. The playground is in bad condition, filled with tall grass and dangerous insects.

Faculty: Not quite. Teachers are not very good. They care about when the classes are over. Whatever they teach, they don't even seem to understand what they are teaching. The marker doesn't work, and the board is dirty. One teacher doesn't even know how to teach cost accounting.

Other: Nothing, not a single thing, is good about our course. But for Rs. 3,400, it's kind of okay and manageable. They should improve the clean drinking water, provide better toilets and better canteens, and have a projector, lectern, etc., in every class.

Genuine review of MLSM College.

Placements: 20 percent of students got placed in my course. The college says they provide campus placement, but the number of people who got campus placement is low, and they also didn't get a high-paying placement. If you want a good salary, you have to give interviews outside. College placement offers are too few.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. All the labs and books are available in college. The library has a good number of books. The college didn't have any hostel you can find some hostels near the college. The college didn't provide any hostel services. You can participate in different cultural programs and sports. Also, the college didn't have a canteen. There was a canteen in the past but currently there is no canteen in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and highly knowledgeable. They treat students well and they explain topics in a very easy and simple way. The course is good if you are a good student, the teacher will pay more attention to you and give you a little more attention. Semester examinations are neither too easy nor too hard. If you study well, you will pass easily.

Other: College fest happens on a regular basis but is not too much fun. Only some people join it.

Placements: Students with a minimum of 65 percent in 12th class got placed. Highest package is 12 LPA. The minimum is 5 LPA. The average is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for B.Sc. graduates from government colleges include IT majors like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Wipro, Tech services firms like Infosys and Accenture, pharma-biotech companies like Biocon, and healthcare diagnostic providers like Apollo Hospital, Reddy's Laboratories, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Healthcare, and Cipla Analytics.

Infrastructure: 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. The infrastructure is also very nice. The classrooms have LED screens on which the teacher taught us. The hostel food is also very good. The canteen and medical facilities are also nice. The college also supports sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and also Ph.D. qualified and have too much knowledge. The teaching quality is very nice. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult but they help us to increase our knowledge. The pass percentage is around 50 percent.

Other: This course is very valuable for the future and it provides us with a secure future. The washrooms are quite not good enough for girls and they can be improved. College facilities give us a very quiet and studyable campus. The crowd is quite okay and connectivity is also good. The surroundings of the campus are so nice and they also organise a fest.
