I do not want to rate or give any rating to this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, have good behavior, and are friendly. The course curriculum is very old in this college. The passing criteria are 40% of total marks. Otherwise, students get a back/supply in that particular subject.

Nice place with wonderful people.

Faculty: Teachers and professors are well-qualified in their respective subjects. They cooperate whenever students need help and are always ready to support. Exams are held every six months. Before final exams, there are house tests like midterms. Students have to submit assignments and prepare PPT presentations every semester, which are evaluated by professors.

The Shimla campus of Himachal Pradesh University.

Faculty: The faculty members are academically very intelligent and always helpful to every student. The course curriculum is quite relevant and it helps students to improve their skill set to a certain level. The semester exams mostly focus on the university courses and it is somewhat difficult for those who take academics for granted.

Review of UIT Shimla from a student.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good for most of them. The exams are of moderate difficulty, neither too tough nor too easy. Most students get good grades according to themselves. The course curriculum is relevant. Most of the time, classes are given priority for practical lessons, although some teachers prefer theory.

Review for Bachelor's of Vocational Studies in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, very supportive, and knowledgeable. The course makes students ready for the industry because of the industrial exposure they get in their training. This is a job-oriented course, and there is no pressure for theory, though you do have to complete the assignments on time.

Our college does not provide best opportunities for students in placements.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry, but students also have to work hard by themselves also. The semester exam are average, not too difficult. Pass percentage is like 40%.

Great campus and infrastructure, but bad transport facilities and weak placements.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and amazing, with a few exceptions. Overall, the teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant. It might make students industry-ready, but only with good self practice. The semester exams are a joke, with absolutely easy questions and online exams in which students really easily pass. The university is trying out new things every semester to prevent that from happening, but people always find a way. ( I would prefer offline exams ). Since the exams ar...

Absolutely satisfied with the overall performance of the university.

Faculty: Professors are well qualified and experienced, so I never doubted my decision to get admission here. The exam level is moderate, and regular students have never failed in the examination, which shows the hard work of students and professors. They are ready to help you every time. In my department, my professors are so helpful that even if you meet them outside the department, they will help you just like inside the department. Apart from this, students are taught in every subject. Professors are...

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and most of them explained the topic clearly with good support and practical and research work. The teaching quality was good, especially for history and heritage-related subjects. The course curriculum was relevant and included fieldwork.

Absolutely dissatisfied with hostels. College is good.

Faculty: We had very helpful teachers who were knowledgeable. Exams were fairly difficult, and that should be the standard. You have to be prepared for the exams because a lot of students failed. They think it's easy to pass, but it was not. You had to self-study. We had good faculty members.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, no placement, worst infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Faculty: Faculty is also not helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and lectures are not delivered daily and regularly. The course curriculum is relevant but not sufficient, and not updated. Semester examinations are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is around 33 percent.

Overall, it is a very good college for serious students.

Faculty: Teachers are the best to help us through the entire semester. Their teaching quality is good. Now they are taking a mock test for the NET SET exam also. Passing in college is easy because we have 9-5 college every day except Sunday. So basically, they prepare us for exams very well. The chemistry faculty members are among the best.
