Yes, especially from the second year onwards. I got to choose subjects that aligned with my interests — like digital marketing and entrepreneurship. It's not one-size-fits-all; they let you customize your journey.

This made me smile — they do remember names. Some even know what you're good at and encourage you in that direction. You're not invisible here, even in big classes.

IILM University's placement support system is structured and student-focused, managed primarily through its Career Development Center (CDC). Here's how it works:Skill Development & Training:Students go through regular training in aptitude, communication, resume building, group discussions, and interview techniques. This starts from the first semester to ensure long-term readiness.Industry Interface & Internships:The university has tie-ups with corporates for summer internships and live projects. These real-world experiences enhance employability and often convert into pre-placement offers (PPOs).Mentorship & Personalized Guidance:Every student is assigned a faculty mentor and career advisor. They help align the student's strengths with career goals and identify suitable job roles and industries.Placement Drives & Campus Recruitment:IILM organizes both in-campus and virtual placement drives, inviting recruiters from top companies across sectors such as finance, marketing, consulting, and HR.Alumni Network & Corporate Connections:A strong alumni base helps in creating networking and referral opportunities. Frequent alumni talks and networking events bridge the gap between students and industry.Entrepreneurship Support:For students inclined towards startups, IILM provides incubation support and entrepreneurial mentoring under its Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Admission to IILM University, Gurugram is a structured process that begins with filling out the online application form available on the university's official website. Applicants are required to provide their personal and academic details, along with relevant documents such as mark sheets, certificates, entrance exam scores, and a statement of purpose. For the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and are expected to submit scores from entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, or ATMA. After the initial screening, shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview to assess their aptitude and suitability for the program. Final selection is based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, interview performance, and overall profile. Once selected, candidates receive an offer letter and must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the stipulated time. For undergraduate courses, including BBA and B.Tech, students should have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks. The university also considers extracurricular achievements and personal interviews in the selection process for all programs.

I had major stage fear, but I got chances to host events, give class presentations, and even be part of panel discussions. The feedback is supportive, not scary — and now I actually enjoy the mic!
