The candidate should have a minimum of 60% average marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th standard. Additionally, the candidate's age should be between 17 and 25 years for general category males, with relaxations for OBC, SC, and ST candidates. Candidates whose names have not been published in any of IMU's admission lists will be entitled to a refund after the deducting of 10% of the counselling fee. In this Chennai campus, candidates who qualify for IMU CET can register themselves for the counselling process after the release of the IMU CET list. The application form usually starts in the month of April/ May every academic year. For, the academic batch 2025, the last date to fill out the IMU CET Application form was 2 May 2025.
