The total seat intake for the BSc course at IMU Chennai is 120. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Nautical Science. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the IMU CET exam.

Yes, the counselling fee is refundable for the BSc course at the IMU Chennai campus. Candidates whose names have not been published in any of IMU's admission lists will be entitled to a refund after the deducting of 10% of the counselling fee.

Yes, the counselling fee is refundable for the BSc course at the IMU Chennai campus. Candidates whose names have not been published in any of IMU's admission lists will be entitled to a refund after the deducting of 10% of the counselling fee. The amount will be refunded to the account from which the payment is made.

In this Chennai campus, candidates who qualify for IMU CET can register themselves for the counselling process after the release of the IMU CET list. The application form usually starts in the month of April/ May every academic year. For, the academic batch 2025, the last date to fill out the IMU CET Application form was 2 May 2025.
