CUET Subject Mapping for B.A.

CUET Subject Mapping for B.A. 2026 is now available on the official CUET UG website of the National Testing Agency. Candidates looking for admission to any of the B.A. (Programme) or B.A. (Hons) courses at the participating CUET 2026 colleges can check the subject combination for their target university and specialization. More than 200 universities, including central, state, private, deemed, and government universities, offer admission through the Common University Entrance Test. To be eligible for admission to any of these colleges, a student must apply and appear for CUET 2026

The registration process for Common University Entrance Test is ongoing. Candidates must submit online form by selecting their required subjects and paying registration fee. NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 exams from May 11 to May 31. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test Mode. Read this page to know the CUET Subject Mapping 2026 for B.A. for the academic year 2026-2027.

Q:   How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?
A:

Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

  • Section I - 13 Languages
  • Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
  • Section III - General Test
Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
A:

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

CUET UG Subjects 2026

National Testing Agency offers 37 CUET UG Subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and a general aptitude test. Candidates planning to appear for CUET 2026 exam have to select up to five subjects [one compulsory language, three or four CUET domain subjects, and a general aptitude test (if required)] based on the subject mapping requirements of their target university for the course they want to pursue. According to the CUET exam pattern 2026, candidates can now select any subject, even though they have not studied the same in Class 12th.

Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?
A:

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

  1. Name of the candidate
  2. Registration number
  3. Category
  4. Location
  5. Date of exam
  6. Time of exam

To appear for CUET UG exam, candidates must make sue to follow the below mentioned dress code:

  • Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
  • Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time. 
  • Candidates must wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes will not be permitted inside exam centre.
  • In case of any circumstances, candidates must take the approval of NTA before the release of CUET admit card.

Yes, Gurugram University does accept CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to its UG & PG courses respectively. The exam is accepted for selective courses only. Some of the courses for which CUET is accepted are - BBA, BSc, LLB, MSc, MBA, etc.
