CUET Subject Mapping for B.A.

CUET Subject Mapping for B.A. 2026 is available on the official CUET UG website of the National Testing Agency. CUET participating universities also release their course-wise subject combination either in admision prospectus or at official website. Candidates looking for admission to any of the B.A. (Programme) or B.A. (Hons) courses at CUET 2026 colleges can check the subject combination for their target university and specialization. More than 200 universities, including central, state, private, deemed, and government universities, offer admission through the Common University Entrance Test. To be eligible for admission to any of these colleges, a student must apply and appear for CUET 2026

The registration process for the Common University Entrance Test has started again today. Candidates have to submit their online form by selecting their required subjects and paying the registration fee by February 26, 2026. Only registered candidates can appear for the exam. NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 exams from May 11 to May 31. CUET UG Subjects 2026

National Testing Agency offers 37 CUET UG Subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and a general aptitude test. Candidates planning to appear for CUET exam have to select up to five subjects [one compulsory language, three or four CUET domain subjects, and a general aptitude test (if required)] based on the subject mapping requirements of their target university for the course they want to pursue. According to the CUET exam pattern 2026, candidates can now select any subject, even though they have not studied the same in Class 12th.

  • Choosing subjects that are irrelevant to their desired course.

  • Overlooking the general test, which is mandatory for some universities.
Q:   How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?
A: 

Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

  • Section I - 13 Languages
  • Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
  • Section III - General Test
Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
A: 

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

  1. Name of the candidate
  2. Registration number
  3. Category
  4. Location
  5. Date of exam
  6. Time of exam
  7. Exam centre name & address
  8. Photograph
  9. Signature
  10. Instructions related to the exam 

Candidates must note that the CUET exam centre once allotted, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to carefully enter the exam centre preference while filling the CUET 2026 application form.

Q:   What is the dress code for CUET UG?
A: 

To appear for CUET UG exam, candidates must make sue to follow the below mentioned dress code:

  • Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
  • Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time. 
  • Candidates must wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes will not be permitted inside exam centre.
  • In case of any circumstances, candidates must take the approval of NTA before the release of CUET admit card.

Yes, the top 2 BBA colleges in Indore, PIMR and IPS Academy, do not require CUET or any other entrance exam for admissions. Class 12 marks between 45 to 55% are required only.

Nanavati Hospital does not mention whether it accepts the scores of CUET-UG for BSc admissions. Generally, candidates are required to appear for the institute's own entrance exam in order to apply for BSc admissions.

CUET UG 2026 English exam will be scheduled between May 11 and May 31, 2026. The exam will be held for a duration of 60 minutes. The CUET English 2026 slot timings will be mentioned on the CUET intimation slip and admit card. Candidates will be alloted different slots for CUET UG English 2206 exam.

CUET UG exam centre 2026 preference could be selected while filling the CUET application form. Candidates could select the preferred exam cities based on their present and permanent address. Once the CUET exam centre is alloted, candidates cannot request for change in exam city or centre.

No, candidates cannot appear for CUET UG 2026 exam if they have not filled the CUET application form. NTA closed the CUET registrations 2026 on February 26, 2026. Candidates who are willing to appear for CUET UG exam must now stay updated with CUET 2027 schedule and notification.

It is unlikely that NTA will reopen the CUET UG registration 2026 again. Earlier, NTA reopened CUET application 2026 window from February 23 to February 26. Candidates were given one more chance to apply for CUET 2026 exam.

National Testing Agency is expected to release the CUET UG datesheet 2026 by mid April 2026. The CUET datesheet 2026 PDF will be available at cuet.nta.nic.in. Last year, NTA did not release the official CUET UG datesheet, however this year it is expected to release the detailed CUET schedule 2026.
