It is the best college.

Faculty: The teachers are C/E, and all the marine faculty members have proper ship experience. They teach us in a proper way, from which we easily understand how ship machines work. The course is 100 percent relevant. The semester exams are not hard. They are easy because we have marine faculty members.

Best college in India for Merchant Navy.

Faculty: Our learning is done from our masters, captains, engineers, and professors. Our curriculum consists of GSK and MEK. All these subjects are handled by our faculty with wide knowledge both practically and theoretically. Our classes are taken in such a way that we can take up both oral and online exams. Training is done for all the cadets from their basic level to industrial standard level.

The mess food and accommodation totally disappointed us.

Faculty: Staff and faculty members are good. Education-wise, it is good. Semester exams are tough to clear. Faculty members won't help with the semester exams. The pass percentage is above 70 percent.

Review of GP in HIMT College.

Faculty: -Teachers are really dedicated to the learning and understanding of cadets under training, with knowledge more than anything and real-world experience. Courses are up to the industry standards and can help one achieve success in shaping their lives. Semesters are decent, and the pass rate is quite nice because overall learning is the main focus in college.

Compared to other institutes, they provide good placement and training.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are from the marine field and the Navy. So they have vast knowledge of the subjects in both lectures and practicals. Lab instructors help us with hands-on experience of machinery like on a ship. Our course duration is 1 year, which is divided into two semesters, and the syllabus is covered completely.

Grateful to HIMT for helping me achieve my dream job.

Faculty: I would like to thank our CEO, principal, ETO faculty, and the course in-charge for their support and guidance. Faculty members are always approachable and always ready to clear our doubts. The teaching is good and easily understandable, and they focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge. The interview preparation classes give me more confidence to face the interview successfully without fail.

Excellent college for GME.

Faculty: The curriculum focuses more on Marine Engineering components with practical aspects and hands-on experience. We also get an immersive learning experience through the virtual reality modules developed in-house at HIMT by the Chief Engineers and Master Mariners. Faculty members are the best in terms of core job experience and are seasoned teachers who understand our depth and teach effectively.

In my college, in my batch, 95% of students pass and are placed. Teachers are well-experienced.

Faculty: Teachers have immense experience at sea. They share the challenges and experiences they face. All my teachers have more than 20 years of experience on ships, so they have strong knowledge and teaching skills. Teachers follow the curriculum. It makes students industry-ready with safety awareness and risk understanding. Teaching is good, so exams are easy and the pass percentage is high.
